The flavors blend together perfectly, creating a complex yet easy to drink homebrew. The aroma hop and dry hop additions are both Cascade, providing a citrus & floral aroma as fresh as the forests in California's mountains! Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME) MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

Firestone Walker Brewing Company Hopnosis Cold IPA | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | Extract
This Brewmaster Series kit was scaled down to a homebrew batch size in collaboration with Firestone Walker Brewing Company One of the newest takes on the IPA style—Cold IPAs are highly hopped but fermented cold with a lager strain Includes Simcoe®, Callista, Talus®, Mosaic Cryo®, El Dorado, Idaho #7, Cashmere, Nelson, and Riwaka™ hops Estimated ABV: 6.7% Estimated IBUs: 50 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer A new way to IPA! Firestone Walker's Hopnosis IPA represents one of the tastiest examples of a new beer style that is quickly gaining ground—Cold IPA. These beers feature the massive hopping schedules you'd expect from an IPA but are then fermented cold with a lager strain. This gives the beer a clean, crisp and crushable profile while allowing the hops to be on full display. From the top of the boil to the final post fermentation dry hop, you'll find a long list of delicious hop varieties from the U.S. and New Zealand. One of the standouts is Mosaic® Cryo Hops® which are used as the biotransformation dry hop addition. Prepare to be absolutely mesmerized by Hopnosis IPA's explosion of tropical fruit flavors including mango, passionfruit, white grape, and lychee. What Firestone Walker Has to Say About Hopnosis: In early 2022, we launched Hopnosis as our next-generation West Coast-style IPA. Now the time has come to embrace an even more accurate stylistic moniker for Hopnosis: Cold IPA. While IPAs are typically fermented with ale yeasts, cold IPAs like Hopnosis are fermented with lager yeasts. Remember that IPA stands for India Pale Ale, so fermenting an IPA with lager yeasts signifies a break with tradition. “When you use a lager yeast to ferment an IPA, you get a cleaner and less ester-driven aroma profile,” said Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. “The colder fermentation also creates a lighter backbone that helps accentuate the bright, tropical hops we’re using. So while Hopnosis offers a lot of things you love in a straight-ahead West Coast IPA, the lager yeast is what pushes it toward the Cold IPA style.” As a result, Hopnosis rings all the bells of a Cold IPA: crisp and crushable, with a clean hop profile. This BrewMaster Series kit was scaled down to a homebrew batch size in collaboration with the brewmasters at Epidemic Ales Crisp and refreshing traditional pale lager. A light-colored, low-alcohol refresher Won the Gold Medal in the American Lager category at the 2020 Great American Beer Fest Includes Northern Brewer and Saaz hops Estimated ABV: 4.5% Estimated IBUs: 9 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer A traditional pale lager so crisp and refreshing that it deserves a moment to be enjoyed even if the world around you is ending. A perfect introduction to craft beer for the uninitiated, and a welcome change of pace for the craft beer guru that wants a break from hoppiness. Lager at World's End from Epidemic Ale uses a clean malt bill of Pilsner and Vienna malts and Flaked Corn for a light-colored, low-alcohol refresher. Epidemic Ales opened in Concord, CA at the beginning of 2016 and have been brewing quality libations that leave a lasting impression ever since. In 2020, Lager at World's End earned them a Gold Medal in the American Lager category at the Great American Beer Fest (GABF) beer competition. That award-winning recipe featured our own Viking Pilsner Malt. We're stoked that we continue to receive excellent feedback from our Pro customers who are making incredible lagers *and* ales using Viking Pilsner as a base due to its exceptionally clean character. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.042-47 SRM (Color Range): 3-4 IBUs: 9 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 4.5% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. To find our yeast recommendations, choose your preferred kit option above and then select the drop-down menu under “Yeast Options”. For more info, click on the recommended yeast(s) below in the “You Might Also Need” section below. All included steeping grains will come milled.

The result was a highly aromatic hop with almost double the oil content of its parent Saaz. Realesed in 1997, this was once an exceedingly difficult hop to get your hands on outside of New Zealand, as it was quickly bought up by the native brewers. With an almost 1:1 alpha to beta acids ratio, this rockstar aroma hop gives off strong notes of citrusy grapefruit and kumquat. Perfect for new world pale ales, IPAs, hoppy lagers, and any beer you want a bold fruity hop character to shine. Holiday Hops IPA | Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA® Clone | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | Extract
A classic West Coast IPA modeled after Sierra Nevada's Celebration. Balanced malt character, deep reddish color and plenty of hop bitterness Includes Chinook, Cascade, and Centennial hops Estimated ABV: 6.6% Estimated IBUs: 64 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer There are certain beers that you can't help but associate with a specific time of year, and there might be no better example than Sierra Nevada's Celebration IPA. As the year begins to wind down and we enter the holiday season, our eyes instinctively start scanning the shelves for those striking red labels. Once you've enjoyed that first pint of Sierra's signature seasonal release, it's hard to resist leaning into the holiday spirit. Sierra brews this recipe every year with their most recent haul of fresh, hand-selected hops, making each release slightly unique to past iterations. Even though our clone kit doesn't contain fresh hops, we strived to make a recipe that celebrates the character of Cascade, Centennial, and Chinook hops with heaps of citrus, piney, and floral notes. Our Holiday Hops kit is a classic West Coast IPA with a distinct, but balanced malt character, deep reddish color and plenty of hop bitterness to match the bite of winter weather. Cascade, Centennial, and Chinook hops are employed up and down the brew schedule, from the top of the 90-minute boil to the final dry hop addition days before packaging. We highly recommend using a Chico yeast strain for fermentation—it's a Sierra Nevada ale recipe after all! When galaxies collide, stars and planets alike are ripped apart with all types of matter being flung hither and yon. Luminescent particles are scattered to the ether, condemned to wander the void or bound to coalesce into new celestial bodies. Some believe that amongst the chaos of colliding fragments, a mythical form of cosmic dust condenses into Space Nectar—matter so delicious that our Terra-bound taste buds would surely find it incomprehensible. Physics be damned, Moonraker Brewing Company's extraordinary Hazy IPA is the best estimation of what it may be like to take in this heavenly ambrosia. Space Nectar overflows with flavors of peach, apricot and orange sherbet. Over half of the hop bill is comprised of Cryo Hops® which lend a clean, pungent aroma to this absolute juice bomb. A healthy helping of pale wheat malt and flaked wheat provide the perfect amount of fuzz to complement the bright notes of stone fruit. If you can't wait to taste this juice bomb because it smells so good in the fermenter, don't worry! You can order directly from the brewery if you live in California!
