  • Super-Kleer Finings (Kieselsol/Chitosan) - 65 mL Packet

    Super-Kleer Finings (Kieselsol/Chitosan) - 65 mL Packet

    25 reviews

Super-Kleer K.C. is a  two stage wine and beer clarifying kit. Contains two pre-mixed pouches of kieselsol and chitosan. The fining porocess works by creating both strong negative and strong positive charges in the wine, which allow for larger yeast clumping and faster clearing. Works great in wine kits, grape and fruit wines, and alcohol mashes. 65 mL (2.2 fl oz) packet. Directions: Add kieselsol (packet D1) to carboy (5-6G/19-23L) of wine, etc. Gently stir. Dissolve chitosan (packet D2) in 1 fluid oz./30mL of warm water. Add and stir gently.  Clears wine  in 12-48 hours. May not clear pectin haze or products made with hard water. Storage: This product is not freeze/thaw tolerant. Frozen products will crystallize if stored at temperatures below 0°C/32°F for any length of time. Products damaged in this way are no longer effective, and the damage is not reversable. Contains: Sterile Water, Kieselsol, Chitosan (Shellfish Derivative)

These will drain the carboy, although not as well as our BE450 due to how close the mouth of the carboy is to the ground. Note that a carboy can fall out of the stand if left unattended, so please be careful when using this product. Carboys will not fit in this drainer if a carboy handle is on the carboy.

  • Corn Sugar (Dextrose) - PLACEHOLDER Corn Sugar (Dextrose) - PLACEHOLDER

Corn Sugar (Premium Dextrose) | Non-GMO & Domestic

    37 reviews

Premium Domestic Source: Sourced entirely from 100% US corn. Non-GMO: Meets modern consumer demands for clean-label ingredients. 100% Fermentable: Guarantees a reliable, complete fermentation with no residual sweetness. Neutral Flavor Profile: Will not add any unwanted color, flavor, or aroma to your beverage, protecting your recipe's integrity. High Purity & Solubility: Dissolves quickly and clearly in water. Fuel your fermentation with the cleanest, most reliable sugar on the market. Our Non-GMO, Domestic Dextrose Monohydrate (Corn Sugar) is the industry standard for beverage producers seeking purity, consistency, and high performance. As a simple sugar (glucose), our dextrose is 100% fermentable by yeast. This ensures a rapid and complete fermentation, leaving behind a clean, neutral flavor profile that lets your final product—whether beer, hard seltzer, or wine—shine. We offer competitive pricing on bulk sacks for full-scale production and also provide smaller, conveniently packaged sizes for pilot batches, lab work, or homebrewing. Applications for Your Beverage For Beer Brewers 1. Priming & Bottle Conditioning Dextrose is the classic choice for "priming," or creating natural carbonation in the bottle or keg. We recommend it because it's easy for the yeast to consume and has a perfectly neutral flavor, leaving your beer tasting exactly as you designed it. Standard Use: Use 4-5 oz. of dextrose to prime 5 gallons of beer. Sanitary Prep: Dissolve the sugar in 1-1.5 pints of water and boil for 5 minutes to sanitize before gently mixing it with your beer. 2. Gravity & ABV Boosting Need to hit your Original Gravity (OG) target without affecting flavor? Dextrose is the solution. Clean Addition: Adds fermentable sugars without increasing body, color, or adding the "cidery" taste associated with other sugars. Yield: Adds 1.042 points per pound per gallon (PPG) to your specific gravity.   For Hard Seltzer, Wine & Other Beverages Hard Seltzer: Dextrose is the ideal fermentable base for hard seltzer. Its clean profile and high fermentability create a neutral alcohol base that is perfect for flavoring. Yeast Propagation: Use it as a pure carbohydrate source for growing and propagating yeast slurries. Wine: Can be used to increase the potential alcohol (chaptalization) in wines without adding non-grape flavors. Technical Data and Usage Guides Gravity Calculation PPG: 1.042 (Adds 1.042 to specific gravity when 1 lb. is dissolved in 1 gallon of water) Formula to Hit Target Gravity: Dextrose Needed (lbs.) = (Batch Volume [gal] $\times$ (Target Gravity - Actual Gravity)) / 0.042 Example: To raise 5 gallons from 1.040 to 1.050: (5 x (1.050 - 1.040)) / 0.042 = 1.19 lbs. of dextrose   Carbonation Guide This guide helps you calculate the CO2 volumes added by priming. Total carbonation is the sum of the CO2 retained after fermentation plus the CO2 added by priming. Priming Amount (per 5 gal) CO2 Volumes Added 4 oz 1.48 Volumes 5 oz 1.84 Volumes Residual CO2: Beer fermented at 68°F (20°C) retains ~1.0 volume of CO2. Beer fermented at 50°F (10°C) retains ~1.2 volumes. To convert volumes to g/L: Multiply volumes x 1.96. Suggested CO2 Levels (Volumes)   Cask Ales 1.5 - 2.0 American & English Ales 2.3 - 2.6 Lagers 2.4 - 2.6 Highly Carbonated (e.g., Weissbier) 3.0+ A Note on Packaging: The photo is a sample representation. • Bottle Caps - Gold - PLACEHOLDER

    Gold Oxygen Absorbing Bottle Caps

    84 reviews

These Oxygen Absorbing beer bottle caps have a special liner that absorbs oxygen in the bottle's head space. This helps reduce the oxidation that happens during the bottling process, keeps your home brewed beer tasting fresher, and can extend it's shelf life. 26 mm diameter caps fit American bottles. Some imported bottles and some sparkling wine bottles use a 29 mm cap instead. We recommend test fitting prior to filling if you're re-using an imported bottle. Important to note: It is recommended that you only sanitize as many caps as you'll require at the time of bottling. The oxygen-absorbing agent is activated when the cap gets wet. If wetted caps are saved for later use, they'll still function as a normal cap, but the oxygen absorbing agent may be depleted.

  • Corks - Belgian Corks - PLACEHOLDER

    Belgian Corks for Bottles

    13 reviews

Cork your homebrewed Belgian beers with these corks made specifically for use with Belgian beer bottles. Our brewery-grade (meaning these are the same quality corks that commercial breweries use) corks work well with our Floor Corker (W410). A hand corker will not work with these corks. A long-time customer - John Francisco - told us a tip that he uses when he corks his Belgian beers - put a #7 stopper (FE440) over the plunger rod of the corker so that only 1 3/4" of the rod is exposed. This will stop the cork from going into the bottle too far. A wire hood can then be fastened over the remaining 6/8" - 7/8" of cork sticking out of the bottle. We have tried this and it works great! Attention: These corks come sanitary in the bag ready to be corked into a bottle. Do not sanitize or boil these corks. If done so, you will ruin the integrity of the cork. 1 5/8" L x 1" D

  • Riptide Brewing Pump Riptide Brewing Pump

    Blichmann RipTide™ Brewing Pump | Stainless Steel Head | Magnetic Drive | Curved Blade Impeller | 7 GPM | 1/2" MPT Inlet/Outlet

    169 reviews

Stop lifting buckets, kettles, and fermenters or relying on gravity for transfers! Brew pumps unlock a world of brewing processes otherwise unavailable—create a return loop for whirlpooling in kettle during post boil hop additions Stainless steel pump head comes standard—the ideal choice for attaching quick disconnects, camlocks, and other stainless fittings Built-in flow control valve allows for direct flow adjustment on the pump head and eliminates the need to add an additional ball valve Corny keg style pull ring PRV makes it easy to bleed the pump head of air bubbles and prime the pump Tri-clamp pump head can be rotated to your preferred orientation and disassembles quickly for cleaning between uses Imagine a brewing pump that eliminates cavitation, is easy to clean, has a built in valve, and is quiet. Introducing The RipTide pump from Blichmann Engineering, the first pump designed specifically for homebrewing. We love this brew pump. Like a brewer wired on coffee, let us rattle off some of our favorite features.  First, the pull style relief valve that allows air to exit the pump head so the impeller won't cavitate is a genius addition. Our next favorite feature is the bad-ass, built-in flow control valve so you don't have to add additional ball-valves. While we dont manually clean our pumps very often we like the idea that we can easily do that with the clover clamp style connection. That might be particularly important if you are transferring cool wort where extra sanitation might make a difference.  Equally cool is the noise, or lack thereof, when operating. It just wears on you to hear your pump grinding away all day. The RipTide pump isn't silent, but it is much quieter.  And to top it all off we like the mounting base and the extra long 9' cord. 9' gets the plug connection a few feet away from where we are brewing and less likely to be exposed to water - a simple upgrade that is really nice.  Oh, and we almost forgot the power switch which is always a nice feature on something electric! All in all this is a no brainer upgrade for the difference in cost. Features: Strong rare earth magnets and a curved blade impeller provide 7 GPM and up to 21 ft of lift Tri-Clamp head disassembles easily for cleaning 1/2" NPT inlet and outlet Motor is enclosed in a splash proof and super quiet case Rotatable stainless steel head Integrated air release vent allows you to easily prime the pump everytime without those frustrating air bubbles and cavitation Linear flow valve provided for excellent flow control Power switch on base 10 ft. long power cord with 120V plug

  • Deluxe Counter Pressure Bottle Filler

    Deluxe Counter Pressure Bottle Filler

    58 reviews

We think our Counter Pressure Filler is the best on the market and the Deluxe Counter Pressure Filler takes a proven design to the next level by adding a pressure gauge for monitoring bottle pressure and flared connections for easy cleaning. The gauge allows you to know the pressure in your bottle, an incredibly handy feature. The flared connections allow for easy cleaning as you can connect on or disconnect your lines in a matter of seconds. Traditionally these lines can be difficult to sanitize because they were permanently connected with hose clamps. Flush and fill from the bottom of the bottle with an all-stainless filler! Our new design on counter pressure filling features a special valve on top that allows CO2 or beer to flow down the same stainless tube, directly to the bottom of the bottle. The result is a more effective purging of oxygen and fresher tasting beer. The valve has three positions, off, beer and CO2. The unit is inserted into the bottle in the off position. The valve is then turned to CO2 to flush the bottle and then to beer for filling. The adjustable pressure relief on the side of the unit allows you control the speed of fill by adjusting the pressure in the bottle. The valve is positioned in such a way that it is easy to use with one hand, while the other holds the bottle. This model is designed for 12oz bottles but can easily be extended to accommodate larger bottles, such as 22oz, with a small piece of 1/4" tubing. Still has all the great features of our Original: All Stainless Construction (except for a brass backing on the pressure gauge) A true Counter Pressure Filler (for less foaming) Easy to use Stainless 3-way ball valve on top Adjustable Stainless pressure release on side Flushes bottle from the bottom not the top Beer barb is 1/4". Gas barb is 5/16".

    Bottle Capper - Emily

    39 reviews

This capper is made by Ferrari of Italy and is the classic, smooth operating, easy to use hand capper. It is made from self-lubricating Nylon and is suprisingly strong. The unique patented design has a gear driven head that makes capping a breeze since less overall force is required. Many brewers like this model for several reasons.  It is lighter than normal metal cappers. It has wider handles making it easier to operate. A built in spring allows the capping mechanism to automatically retract when capping is completed. The built in magnet allows the cap to be positioned in the capping head and then applied to the bottle rather applying the cap on top of the bottle first. Overall less forced is required. This is made in Italy and not in China like some other red models sold on the market. We tested the Chinese models and be aware they break more often.  Set up to cap Standard Beer Bottles (26 mm), it can also cap wider Champagne or Belgian Bottles (29 mm) by reversing the metal jaws.

The EasyDens from Anton Paar was developed as a digital gravity/alcohol tester for small commercial breweries, but this product is just as useful in the winemaking process—from measuring and tracking the sugar content of grapes in the field to measuring alcohol levels at the end of fermentation. With only a small sample being needed, the EasyDens eliminates the need to fill up a hydrometer jar or using a refractometer and spread sheet to determine your test results. A tiny 2 ml sample is all that you need for an accurate Brix reading. Alcohol % can also be tracked at any point during fermentation. The unit hooks up to your smartphone via Bluetooth and stores various fermentation "profiles" enabling you to track fermentation progress, alcohol levels, and help know when it's time to bottle your wine! Brix Measurements Range: -10 °Brix to 80 °Brix Accuracy: 0.3 °Brix Resolution: 0.1 °Brix In order to get accurate measurements, please note your sample will need to have the solids filtered out and degassed prior to taking measurements. A simple coffee filter is recommended for filtering samples. Protect your device with the Silicone Protection Cover! See the documents tab for frequently asked questions about the Easy Dens. • Lallemand Dry Yeast - Voss Kveik - PLACEHOLDER Lallemand Dry Yeast - Voss Kveik - PLACEHOLDER

Lallemand | LalBrew® Voss Kveik Ale Yeast | Dry Beer Yeast

Kveik is a Norwegian word meaning yeast. In the Norwegian farmhouse tradition, kveik was preserved by drying and passed from generation to generation. Kveik is the original, traditional dried yeast! The LalBrew Voss strain was obtained from Sigmund Gjernes (Voss, Norway), who has maintained this culture using traditional methods since the 1980s and generously shared it with the wider brewing community. LalBrew Voss supports a wide range of fermentation temperatures between 25-40°C (77-104°F) with a very high optimal range of 35-40°C (95-104°F). Very fast fermentations are achieved within the optimal temperature range with full attenuation typically achieved within 2-3 days. The flavor profile is consistent across the entire temperature range: neutral with subtle fruity notes of orange and citrus. Flocculation is very high producing clear beers without filtration or use of process aids. Beer Styles: Norwegian farmhouse ales, neutral ales Aroma: Relatively neutral at high temps, slight orange and citrus notes Attenutation: Medium to High Fermentation Range: 77-104°F (Optimal: 95-104°F) Flocculation: Very High Alcohol Tolerance: 12% ABV
