Ribbed body and ridge prevent slipping or being sucked in, ensuring a reliable seal during long-term storage. Despite its ribbed design, this silicone bung is easy to clean and sanitize for hassle-free use. Solid Silicone bung that will fit a 3, 5, 6 or 6.5 gallon glass carboy or 500ml flask. A solid stopper is the most reliable way to keep oxygen out for long term storage. This bung has a ridge to keep it from getting sucked in when temperatures cool. It also features a ribbed body it doesn't slip out during use. Even though it isn't perfectly smooth like some other stoppers, it remains easy to clean and sanitize. Please note: This stopper was designed for use with the BrewBuilt CoolStix which has been discontinued. Two of the holes are for an airlock and thermowell, but the third 1/2" hole was intended for the CoolStix and you will need to plug it or utilize it how you see fit. This #10 3-hole silicone stopper is used alongside the BrewBuilt CoolStix for Carboys. The holes are for a 1/2" CoolStix, an airlock, and a thermowell. The holes measure 0.500", 0.413", & 0.375" Compatible with Fermonsters and our Plastic PET Carboys listed below under "You Might Also Need".
