This turbo steamer finds its optimal application in small to medium-sized breweries and wineries. It is used for the sterilization of sheet filters, candle filters and filling machines, and to help clean and sterilize cold rooms, barrels, wooden fermenters and tanks, or to remove wine stone.
Steam cleaning is a popular and effective method of cleaning and sanitizing wine barrels. Steam cleaning will help to remove any residual substances from the barrels and ensure they are in optimal condition for aging and storing wine. Simply connect a steam wand to the steam generator and insert the nozzle through the bunghole. High temperature steam will break down residual wine, tartrates, and other deposits on the inner surface of the barrel. The heat from the steam will also kill any bacteria, mold, or microorganisms that may be present to prevent contamination on the next batch of wine.
