  • Nitrogen Regulator - Dual Gauge

Taprite Dual Gauge Nitrogen Regulator | Argon | Beer Gas Mix | 0-50 PSI Working Pressure | CGA580 Inlet | One Way Shutoff Valve | 5/16" Barb Outlet

    11 reviews

A nitrogren regulator used for Nitrogen and Argon - it will fit both tanks. A nitrogen regulator has a higher high-pressure gauge than a CO2 regulator. (The starting pressure in a Nitrogen/Argon tank will be about 2200 p.s.i. as opposed to 800 p.s.i for a CO2 tank.) CGA580. Tap-Rite brand nitrogen regulator. 5/16" barb. • Taprite Dual Gauge CO2 Regulator - Premium Taprite Dual Gauge CO2 Regulator - Premium

Taprite Dual Gauge CO2 Regulator | High Performance Primary Regulator | 0-50 PSI Working Pressure | CGA320 Inlet | One Way Shutoff Valve | 5/16" Barb Outlet

    103 reviews

The Taprite is our favorite dual-gauge regulator on the market. We've used them all and this unit represents the best quality at a great price. Key features are the easy hand adjusted pressure adjustment dial, barbed outlet, one way on/off valve, and built in tank connection gasket. Best of all is the consistent pressure regulation. With many regulators the pressure can 'creep' up over time. This unit is a rock. This is the T742HP model where the HP stands for high performance. Won't freeze up when multiple taps are running at once. The built-in gasket where the regulator connects to the CO2 tank, eliminates the constant replacement of fiber washers every time you change out your tank. The one way valve keeps beer from flowing back into the regulator when a keg happens to have more pressure than your regulator is pushing. Hand dial is easily turned to adjust pressure without the need for a screw driver. Optional available gauge cage is the best on the market. Low Pressure gauge reads from 0 to 60 psi. Built by Taprite, an American company. General Regulator Information A regulator controls the flow of CO2 gas that is under pressure. To ensure proper operation, please make sure that when in use your CO2 tank and regulator remain in an upright position. Do not physically modify the regulator in any way. Regulators work best at room temperature. If you use your regulator in the cold it will take up to 4 hours for the adjustment to register. For example: If you are at 10 PSI and you change the pressure to 12 PSI the regulator will move to 14 or 15 PSI over the next 4 hours. Once you have found the correct pressure the regulator will work perfectly fine but it will take some trial and error to get it adjusted. More Tips & Tricks: Are you out of CO2? When the needle reads half way in the red you are about 10% full. You should be able to push another 2-3gallons of beer when your at this amount of remaining gas. What is an ideal serving pressure? For most beers a pressure set at 10-12PSI is the sweet spot. Your beer has to be stored cold from 34-40F for this pressure to work properly. Is your beer serving a lot of foam? Don't panic this is not hard to fix. Your beer line must be 5-8 feet in length for this to work. Turn the black check valve to the close position (as pictured). Release the pressure from your keg's relief valve. Lower the pressure to 6-8psi by turning the flat head screw on the front of the regulator counter clock wise. Open the black check valve releasing CO2 to your keg. Try serving your beer. Is my beer over carbonated? Any beer that is stored under pressure above 12psi will become overcarbonated. If you're trying to speed up the process to carbonate your beer by raising your pressure anywhere from 15-20psi make sure you don't leave your beer at this pressure for more than 2-3 days. If you did this you will need to release all the pressure from the keg before serving and set your serving pressure at 4-6psi depending the carbonation of your beer. After a week you will have to raise your pressure back to the optimum 10-12psi serving pressure.

  • Duotight Draft Regulator Board - 4 Way - PLACEHOLDER Duotight Draft Regulator Board - 4 Way - PLACEHOLDER

Duotight Draft Regulator Board | Gas Manifold | 4 Way

Serve beverages at different pressures without the need for multiple CO2 cylinders, dual body regulators, or expensive gas manifolds Feed a single pressure to the gas board from your regulator and then step down the pressure on each Duotight regulator Use one line for serving ales, another for soda or seltzer water, and another for carbonating a freshly filled keg All parts shown are included and snap together quickly thanks to Duotight push-to-connect fittings and rigid plastic joiners Duotight In-Line Regulators feature built-in pressure gauges that read 0-60 PSI and can be swapped out for different ranges if desired The Duotight Draft Regulator Board is a simple and cost-effective solution to serving beer and other beverages on draft at different pressures. With a standard CO2 tank and CO2 regulator, you can feed gas at a single pressure into the regulator board and then fine tune individual pressure settings for each gas line via the Duotight In-Line Regulators. These regulators feature built-in pressure gauges that make adjustments super simple and check valves are included as standard so you never have to worry about back flow into the regulator. This kit includes everything you need to assemble your regulator board and can be customized so the gas inlet is on the right or left side—whichever makes the most sense for your home draft setup. Duotight push-to-connect fittings and the precut rigid joiners make assembly a breeze and only takes 10-15 minutes! The draft board kit comes in two options—with or without shut off valves. These valves offer peace of mind and allow you to shut off gas flow to any line that is not in use. If you ensure that your system has no leaks, they aren't technically needed, and you can always fully tighten your Duotight Regulator adjustment knob for added protection. But that little extra security might help you sleep easier at night! One advantage of choosing no check valves, however, is that it will leave room at the top of the board to label your gas lines. One of the coolest features of the Duotight In-Line Regulator is that the included pressure gauge can be swapped out for different pressure ranges. The standard gauge reads 0-60 PSI, but if you have one line that will always be used for serving Ales, you can swap to a 0-15 PSI gauge that will be a little easier to read and make precise adjustments. There's also a Digital Pressure Gauge available that provides backlit instant reads and is rated from 0-90 PSI. Need more than 4 gas lines? Check out the 6-Way Duotight Draft Regulator Board. Please Note: Full assembly required. The gas board, regulators, and fittings will arrive loose. Please see our instructions and assembly video below. Stepping Down Pressure The ideal regulation scenario occurs when the inline regulator steps down the output pressure to at least 10 PSI less than the inlet pressure. For example, if the inlet pressure is 30 PSI, the regulator effectively manages a range from 0–20 PSI on the output side ensuring optimal performance and stability. Ideal regulation scenario (10 PSI less than inlet pressure) Example of 30 PSI inlet translating to 0–20 PSI output Kit Includes: 4-Output Gas Board (4) Duotight In-Line Regulators (4) Duotight Check Valves (4) Duotight Shut Off Valves (if selected above) (3) Duotight Tees (1) Duotight Elbow (15) Rigid Plastic Joiners NOTE: All Duotight fittings and rigid plastic joiners come as 8mm OD. Mounting hardware is included for the regulators but not for mounting the board itself to a wall or the inside of your kegerator/keezer. If you select the option without shutoff valves, you will be left with some spare joiners after assembly.
