    • When smacked, the Activator™ packet releases sugars and nutrients to initiate the culture's metabolism

Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.

Highly regarded Belgian beer yeast praised for vigorous fermentation and strong attenuation. Customers said it "went crazy" and produces "award winning beers" with characteristic banana and strawberry esters. Works well across Belgian styles. Note: requires extra headspace due to aggressive activity.

        Ferocious yeast strain

Brewed a Belgian dubbel style. Made an appropriate size starter and left 4 gallons of headspace in the conical which is usually enough. This yeast went crazy! 68 degrees in my fermentation chamber and I didn't force cool it fermenter got up to about 73 degrees on day 3. Small sample 4th morning showed attenuation from 1.075 OG down to 1.021! I did have an unexpected bubbling out the top so definitely allow tons of headspace with this strain. Smells characteristic for the style can't wait to taste it.

        A+ Shipping and Condition

Smack pack came quickly. Highly recommend purchasing the additional ice packs for transport. Well worth it. Yeast was fairly new so one small starter later it produced two award winning beers. Nothing but quality from MoreBeer.

        Workhorse

Worked great in my belgian stout. Provides enough classic Belgian character without overwhelming the beer. Good flocculation and strong attenuation in high gravity wort.
