Possibly the finest ice ever. It was probably quite cold while it was frozen.

I'll caveat this writeup is in reference to shipping yeast during the Summer/Warm (hot) months... This is just not sufficiently insulating to maintain yeast viability for more than overnight with ice packs during summer months.. My order from MoreBeer! was submitted on Monday and during selection it showed availability in PA (I live in MD). But when the order went in it was to be shipped Tuesday from CA. It was in transit almost a full week (received the following Wednesday on time as expected) but I took it's temp and it was at 80 degrees. Since the new WL packaging I have had viability issues with WL yeasts so this added to that challenge. However Molly was SUPER HELPFUL when I called and she had a duplicate order shipped out for overnight delivery! Her service is 5-Star!

My yeast was delayed in shipment. Spent a week or so in a FedEx facility somewhere. When it finally arrived the ice packs and yeast were still cold. Granted it is winter still the ice pack lasted for 10 days.

Worth the price. Good quality packing and you can reuse the ice packs.

I used this ice pack to ship a MLF culture. It worked well and the product arrived still cold. I believe this is necessary for most shipments of MLF which needs to be kept quite cold.

Morebeer sent me the package from California and I live on the east coast. Even with the shipping delays due to the Corona virus the yeast and the inside of the package was still cold.

I did not use shipping that required a premium payment just USPS. While the shipment arrived in good shape the 'ice pack' was liquid at that point but given the excellent packaging the Yeast was cold to the touch. It was certainly worth the $4 for peace of mind.

If you are purchasing liquid yeast this is a must. I have only used liquid yeast a few times. The first time I used liquid yeast I didn’t have it shipped in an ice pack and their was very little activity. This time after being shipped in an ice pack the yeast performed much better.

FedEx was late (as usual) the ice packs and yeast were still cool to the touch. Please stop using FedEx.

we ordered our yeast during a warm period and when it arrived 2 days later there wasn't any ice and the yeast was warm

Added the ice pack with the insulated envelope hoping that the yeast would make the trip. It did. Yeast started like normal.

It was well packed but even with the insulation and cold pack the yeast arrived hot. I am not complaining I knew with 95+ degrees days it was a risk. I have bought the same yeast from this place with great results before.

This came clear across our great nation and it was sealed very nicely... the inside was cool not cold...but the best I think you could ask for during 80 degree weather

I was hesitant to order yeast online but with the retail store temporarily closed I was in desperate need of some liquid yeasts. Took a chance and ordered four White Lab yeasts packed in this insulated envelope with ice packs. FedEx showed 72hrs in transit from store-to-door which is one full day longer than past shipments. My yeast arrived at a perfect 60ºF!!! This was measured using an infrared pyrometer and not a subjective assessment or feel-by-hand check. Ambient weather was mid 70ºF's. I'd feel confident with this pack up to mid/high 80ºF's with the usual two day shipping.
