Relieves pressure while filtering from one keg to another plus allowing reading the pressure in the receiving keg.  Notes: The very end of the pressure relief valve can be adjusted by unscrewing to adjust the pressure. If tight, and not adjustable by hand, it needs to be loosened with pliers. Wrap a towel around the end piece of the pressure relief valve (about  the last 1/4 in) and loosen with pliers. Then finger tighten or loosen to desired pressure. Gauge reads 0 - 15 psi

This cast iron wide-profile banjo burner is strong and efficient, topping our ratings in getting wort to a quick boil, while using the same amount or less of propane. Adjusted for efficiency this banjo burner produces around 70,000 BTU/hr, and in full, this banjo burner mode produces 100,000 btu.  Banjo burners can often times have issues when using with low flame output.  We sourced and tested a number of different units, before settling on this one, which performs great at low output.  Uses 3/8" male flare fitting (included). Comes with steel orifice plate for regulating airflow The burner has a 9 7/8" diameter and is 14 3/4" long This banjo burner requires a propane regulator to function properly.  We recommend a Wind Guard with these units if brewing outdoors.  If using indoors, you must have proper ventilation in the form of an overhead cooking hood.

It is much safer and easier to work with than soda ash. Formulated especially for commercial and home wineries.  Directions: Fill barrel halfway with cold water and dissolve 0.2 - 0.6 oz. per gallon of barrel capacity. Agitate to dissolve the product, then top with cold water and loosely bung barrel. Allow barrel to soak for 24 hours prior to draining and rinsing.  Cleans with oxygen; does not contain chlorine, bisulfites, organic compounds or phosphates.
