  • Malt - Viking Malt 2-Row Xtra Pale - Per Lb (Showroom Only) Malt - Viking Malt 2-Row Xtra Pale - Per Lb (Showroom Only)

2-Row Xtra Pale Malt - Viking Malt

Reduce Staling & Improve Shelf Life — A null-lox malt bred without lipoxygenase enzymes, preventing the oxidative reactions that cause staling. Reduced DMS — Contains up to 60% less S-methylmethionine (SMM), reducing DMS potential for cleaner flavor and enabling faster, more efficient boils. Amazing Flavor — Clean, crisp, and balanced. In blind tastings, brewers consistently preferred it to other 2-row base malts. Versatile — Highly modified for easy conversion and kilned like a pilsner malt for an extra-light 1.7–1.9 °L color, making it ideal for everything from lagers to hop-forward ales. Experience the 3G Difference Real innovation in base malt is rare. Viking 3G Xtra Pale represents a revolutionary step forward, engineered to give you a distinct advantage in quality, efficiency, and cost. This premium European malt uses naturally bred, null-LOX barley that actively prevents oxidative staling, keeping your beer fresher, longer. We’ve also engineered it with up to 60% less SMM (the precursor to DMS), ensuring a cleaner, purer flavor profile while enabling faster, more energy-efficient boils. The result? A superior, brewer-preferred malt that delivers the performance of a premium import at the price of a domestic. Stand out without driving up costs. 1.9 °L - Viking Malt - Xtra Pale is a modern 2-row base malt designed for very light-colored ales. While it works great as the base malt for any ale, it is particularly perfect for today’s extra light colored pale ales and IPAs. Xtra pale is germinated like a pale malt to have a high degree of modification for easy brew house conversion. However, it is then uniquely Kilned like a pilsner malt for a very light color in the 1.7 to 1.9 Lovibond range. The result is a malt that easily and quickly converts like a true pale ale malt, but is as light or lighter than most Pilsner malts. Morebeer! Pro worked with Viking to design this malt based on numerous customer requests. Unique light-colored barley varietals were chosen and the germination and kilning processes were selected to get the best of both worlds. Compared to other 2-row base malts on the market that were originally designed for big breweries, and are neither true Pilsner or true Pale Malts, Xtra Pale was specifically designed for light, craft-brewed ales. Malt Specification: Moisture % - max. 4.5 Extract fine % dm - min. 81.3 Color °L - 1.9 Protein % dm - max. 10.1 Kolbach Index % - 44.4 Beta-glucan in wort (mg/l) - 185 Friability % - 87 Glassy grains % - 0.4

When not under pressure, it is perfectly safe to transfer wort into the tank below 131°F or to use hot liquids below this temp for cleaning. When under pressure, make sure to keep your fermentation temperature below 95°F and keep the fermenter in an environment that is below 95°F ambient. This is especially important when fermenting with kveik yeast. These strains are known to ferment hot if no temperature control is being used. Exceeding the temperature rating may compromise the tank, leading to a shorter life span or sudden failure to maintain pressure. Even with proper use, we recommend replacing the tank every two years. Please note: when using the FermZilla under pressure, you must perform a water pressure check to ensure your connections are leak proof. To do this, fill your FermZilla up with water, apply at least 15 psi pressure, and check for leaks around all caps and threads.   Pressure Stress If you use the FermZilla to ferment under pressure, or you use CO2 to pressure transfer or force carbonate your finished beer, it is very important that you conduct semi-annual inspections of your tank. Even with perfect care, the FermZilla tank may show signs of wear from pressure stress over time. We recommend visually inspecting your tank for stress creases or other signs of wear once or twice a year. A hydro test should be conducted every two years, even if no signs of wear are found. The process is simple: Fill the tank to the brim with water Replace the Red PRV with a Green PRV rated to 4.5 BAR or higher Pressurize the tank to 4 BAR (58 psi) Check for leaks, then replace the Red PRV when finished If leaks or potential points of failure are found, replace the tank before you continue using pressure with your FermZilla. General Care Taking good care of your FermZilla begins with cleaning and sanitizing the unit before and after use. The tank is made from food-grade PET, which is beautifully clear, but can be sensitive to long soaks in cleaners and acid-based sanitizers. In general, we do not recommend leaving products like PBW or StarSan soaking in the tank for more than an hour. Extended soaks have the potential to degrade the PET material and shorten the lifespan of the tank.   KegLand Part number: KL47296 NOTE: FermZilla tanks are marked with a manufacturer’s “expiry date”. This does not indicate that the tank is bad after this date; it simply indicates that a hydro test may be in order. 2 years after production and every 2 years after first use, it is recommended that the tank be hydro tested to ensure the tank is holding pressure. You will also need the D1072 Green PRV to perform the test. If you do not plan to pressurize the fermenter, the test is not necessary.   FermZilla Tri-Conical 27L & 55L | User Guide

Lallemand | LalBrew® Farmhouse™ Hybrid Saison Style Yeast | Dry Beer Yeast

LalBrew Farmhouse™ is a non-diastatic hybrid that has been selected to make saison and farmhouse style beers. This product is the result of the research and development work of Renaissance Bioscience Corp. (Vancouver BC, Canada) in partnership with Lallemand Brewing. LalBrew Farmhouse™ was selected using the most advanced breeding techniques. The Renaissance research team used classical and non-GMO methods to remove the STA1 gene, responsible for the diastatic activity of Saison yeasts. Care was taken to retain normal brewing sugar utilization to produce dry saisons. Additionally, the patented technology from the University of California Davis (USA) ensures that the strain will not produce hydrogen sulfide (H2S) off-flavors, therefore enhancing the saison yeast aroma characteristics. • Wort Aerator - Air Pump Kit Wort Aerator - Air Pump Kit

Wort Aerator | Air Pump Kit | Aeration System w/ Filter & Diffusion Stone

Want to aerate your wort or yeast starter but don't want to go down the pure oxygen bottle path or stir plate? This inexpensive method is perfect for you. Our air filter ensures that you're not going to be pumping bacteria directly into your wort or yeast starter. To clean your stainless stone, we recommend to boil it in boiling water and keep it in a zip lock bag until your next use. It can clog easily with the oil in your fingers, so gloves are advised when handling the stone and air filter. Please note: You will need to use boiling water to soften the 4mm x 8mm EVABarrier hose, as well as some needle nose pliers to widen the hosing. Clamps are not required. You will also be required to cut a short piece to bridge the connection for the two-way air filter. This can be anywhere in the length before it meets liquid (do not submerge) as long as it is before the stone. KOMOS® | Nylon Flare Washers | 10-Pack

    1 review

Nylon washers are used to create a seal between metal-to-metal 1/4" flare fitting connections. Most often used with stainless steel ball lock quick disconnects to prevent leaks. These washers are not necessary when connecting female flare fittings to plastic male flare QDs that have a plastic washer built-in. Flare washers are easy to misplace so we always recommend keeping spares on hand. Comes in a convenient zip lock bag.

What makes KOMOS Kegerators better than the rest? Designed to hold up to FOUR 5-gallon ball lock corny kegs (see below for full list of what fits) Serve ice cold beer even in the warmest environments thanks to highly-efficient refrigeration components Stainless steel forward-sealing faucets offer a huge upgrade over common chrome plated brass taps Choose from the classic stainless, stainless with black finish or the upgraded stainless flow control model Faucets mount to a high-quality stainless steel tower, rather than a cheap chrome plated tower Interior fan diverts cold air up into the tower to keep your beer lines cold and reduce foaming EVABarrier double walled draft tubing protects your beer against oxidation Duotight push-to-connect fittings make assembly a breeze Included KOMOS Dual Gauge CO2 Regulator maintains consistent pressure and is easily adjusted The KOMOS Kegerator offers a stunning set of features that clearly separate this unit as the most modern kegerator on the market. With more interior space than other models, the KOMOS Kegerator is designed to fit up to four 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo kegs or Pepsi-style Ball Lock Corny kegs. Whether you choose the single, double, triple, or quad tap configuration, you'll receive stainless steel forward-sealing faucets in either classic or flow control model. Stainless faucets are a huge upgrade over the chrome-plated brass faucets commonly included with other kegerators, and you'll quickly recognize the quality of a forward-sealing beer faucet compared to the standard taps seen at your local tavern or in-law's mancave. Rather than a chrome plated tower, the NukaTap faucets are mounted to a stainless steel tower that remains cool before, during, and after each pour thanks to a tower fan diverter that recirculates cold air within the kegerator and blows it up into the tower to keep your beer lines cold and reduce foaming. From keg to faucet, your beer will pass through EVABarrier draft lines, a premium double-walled tubing designed to protect against beer oxidation. And with Duotight push-to-connect fittings, you'll have your lines connected in a snap with no need to force the tubing over barb fittings or fiddle with hose clamps. Other features you'll love about the KOMOS Kegerator include its highly-efficient cooling capacity so you'll be serving ice cold beer even in the warmest temperatures, extra wide temperature range from 26–82°F, dual gas inlets at the back, aluminum internal floor, rolling casters, and the included KOMOS Dual Gauge CO2 regulator. The most eye-catching difference between the KOMOS unit and other kegerators is definitely the capacity. This is the first kegerator we have offered that comes with a quadruple tap tower option, and that’s all thanks to the redesigned interior. Most kegerators position the compressor on the right or left side of the inside floor, making one side shallower than the other. KOMOS positions the compressor in the middle so both sides of the interior have an equal depth. This seemingly small detail allows the unit to hold up to four 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo or Ball Lock Corny kegs. Dual gas line inlets are absolutely clutch if you want to serve beverages at two different pressures or use two different types of gas. Both inlets are just over 3/4" in diameter and feature PCO 1881 threads. This threading allows you to use the plastic Carbonation Ball Lock Cap (FE13) as a quick connect option for your gas lines. Upgraded condenser, evaporator, and insulation make this unit highly efficient, yet quiet, so you can serve ice cold beer in even the warmest temperatures. The unique internal fan provides excellent air circulation, pulling cold air from below the evaporator and blowing it back over the top of your kegs and up into the tower to chill your draft lines. Extra Wide Temperature Range is Perfect for Homebrewers The KOMOS kegerator is tailored to a homebrewer's needs. Take, for example, the extended range digital controller with an adjustable temperature range from 26 - 82°F. This allows homebrewers to use as fermentation chamber and is something that other kegerators don't do. Although the unit does not provide heating, the extended range allows you to program the internal temperature at say an ale fermentation temp of 68°F and will provide cooling whenever the temp rises above that set point. With the insulation provided by the kegerator, heating should rarely be needed, but you can always place a low wattage heat wrap inside the unit if ever needed. The digital controller always displays the temperature and is easily adjusted from the front of the kegerator with the door closed. It's pretty nice. Forward-sealing Stainless Faucets and Towers All KOMOS kegerators come with NukaTap stainless steel forward-sealing faucets and a stainless steel draft tower. While other kegerator brands include basic, chrome-plated faucets and ABS plastic draft towers to reduce cost, KOMOS includes these premium upgrades as standard. Forward-sealing means that while in the closed position the faucet will keep beer in it instead of draining out. This keeps the internal parts from getting sticky and reduces the chance of off flavors transferring to your beer while you pour. Most other kegerators on the market will include the cheapest, rear-sealing chrome-plated beer faucets that you'd find at any dive bar. KOMOS kegerators include not only a faucet that features superior pour technology, but made from stainless steel which won't corrode over years of use. Choose from the classic forward-sealing faucet, matte black finish faucet, or the upgraded flow control model that allows you to dial in the flow rate of the beverage you're dispensing. The flow control faucet is a great option for users that often switch between beer styles with different carbonation levels. No need to rebalance your lines or play with your regulator settings. Instantly make adjustments as you pour to dial in the flow rate. This is also a super convenient feature for when you want to grab a quick growler on your way out. By dialing back the flow rate, you can gently fill your growler so CO2 stays in solution and your beer doesn't pour flat when it comes time to share. Click here to learn more about the Classic, Black, and Flow Control faucet models. Duotight Fittings & EVABarrier Draft Tubing Duotight and EVABarrier have revolutionized how you connect draft line, and our kegerators come standard with both. We love Duotight push-in fittings for their quick connection, reliable seal, and versatility. Setting up and connecting draft line has never been easier -- no more hose clamps or heating water to soften tubing! Each kegerator comes with Duotight fittings for the tower shanks, regulator, and for splitting gas lines (double & triple tap only). We recommend adding Duotight fittings to use for your keg connections as well. Depending on whether you'll be serving from homebrew kegs or commercial sanke kegs, you'll need two DUO106 or two DUO104 per line. EVABarrier tubing has been engineered with protection in mind and is both PVC-free and BPA-free. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth. EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now your kegerator will feature the same first-class tubing. KOMOS Regulator The included high-quality KOMOS CO2 regulator maintains consistent pressure and features a blow-off PRV with pull ring for safety and to relieve pressure, rubber coated gauges, and a hand knob for easy adjustment. Many kegerator brands will include the cheapest regulator they can find, and while these regulators may work OK out of the box, they will eventually show signs of pressure creep which can lead to foamy beer and other issues with your draft system. Rather than have you rely on a regulator that is "just OK", KOMOS kegerators include their own premium dual gauge regulator with highly accurate precision diaphragm and heavy-duty steel gauges. Included with your kegerator package is a Duotight fitting that attaches to the regulator for an easy, solid, push-to-connect connection with your gas line. Added Features One of the unique features on a kegerator in this price range is the tower fan, which blows cold air up into your tower to reduce foaming issues. They also come standard with the KOMOS dual gauge CO2 regulator, which is super beefy and consistent in delivering accurate pressures. Most Chinese-made regulators experience creep where the pressure increases over time. The KOMOS regulator is by far the best CO2 regulator we have seen made in China. The countertop drip tray couldn't be easier to keep clean. Built-in drip trays look cool, but they're a pain to keep clean. Before long they get pretty disgusting with dried, spilled beer -- attracting fruit flies and becoming a haven for mold and bacteria to grow. They'll often overflow the reservoir inside the kegerator causing a huge mess. Our kegerator's tray is designed to be removed and easily washed. Best Value & Backed by MoreBeer! We've looked around, and when you factor in fast and free shipping, you are getting the very best value on a kegerator in the USA. Plus, you're getting MoreBeer! service if something happens in shipment. We double box the unit with foam pads and have very little shipping damage. However, it will be delivered via Fed-Ex ground so damage is possible. If your unit arrives damaged just call us up and we will work with you to take care of it. • Adjunct - Heather Tips - PLACEHOLDER Adjunct - Heather Tips - PLACEHOLDER

    Heather Tips

Heather has long been used in brewing, but especially in a Scotch Ale know as Fraoch. This herb imparts a nice aroma and a smooth hint of bitterness. Flavors are similar to a subtle Chamomile/mint blend with just a hint of lavender. Heather Tips are great when used by themselves, but can also be paired with honey. About 2 ounces added to the beginning of your boil will be plenty, but feel free to experiment.

  • Digital Mini Pressure Gauge - 0-90 psi Digital Mini Pressure Gauge - 0-90 psi

Digital Mini Pressure Gauge (0-90 psi)

    11 reviews

KegLand has developed the world's most compact mini digital gauge with backlight illumination. This very compact design retains high accuracy while still meeting the desirable small form factor. This meets the growing need as mini keg systems, mini regulators and other more compact keg dispensing solutions are required. Traditional analog gauges require a small capillary mechanism where a small pipe expands and unravels under pressure. This in turn drives a mechanical cog to rotate the gauge needle. This age-old technique works quite well especially in large gauges but as this mechanism is manufactured smaller and smaller a tradeoff between accuracy and size becomes the issue. With very small gauges such as a 27mm x 27mm Mini Gauge, it's difficult to make them better than 10% accuracy due to the physical constraints of the mechanical components. Compatible With: BlowTie 2 Spunding Valve Duotight In-Line Regulator w/ Gauge Core 360 Mini CO2 Regulator Specifications: Backlight Illumination: Hold yellow button for 3-5 seconds Battery Life: More than 2 years (using the mini gauge once a day) Battery Type: CR2032 Auto Battery Saver: automatically turns off after 15 sec Size: 27mm x 27mm (1" x 1") Radial O-ring Stem: 7.8mm Bore Please note: This gauge is not suitable for measuring pressure of liquids. It is only for measuring gas pressure. If liquid gets into the pressure transducer it will damage the gauge. CellarScience® Glucabuster | Mashing Enzyme

Due to high demand, the 32 oz is currently out of stock. Be the first to receive your items by placing a pre-order today. We will automatically ship this to you when we receive more inventory. CellarScience Glucabuster improves lautering and yield and makes any downstream filtering easier. First the highly concentrated β-glucanase break down the glucan formation that can lead to stuck mashes and slow run off. Then the included Xylanase and Cellulase break down the polysaccharide chains of arabinoxylan and cellulose. Together, all three enzymes help keep todays challenging mashes flowing right. Use: Add 1/4 tsp per 5-gallon batch at mash-in. Glucabuster works in a range of 120-185°F and ideally at a pH range of 4.7-7.0. Additional Notes: Endosperm cell walls are made up of non-starch polysaccharides, of which, in barley, β-glucans account for 75% with arabinoxylan (pentosan) and cellulose accounting for most of the rest. In wheat, the arabinoxylan content is higher. Glucabuster is composed of the cell wall hydrolases β-glucanase, xylanase, and cellulase, which break down the β-14 bonds in these polysaccharides. These enzymes can be equally important to their more famous starch degradation enzymes, α-Amylase and β-Amylase.  Glucanase, xylanase, and cellulase are naturally found in malt but decrease during the kilning stage of malting. Depending on your recipe, adding these enzymes is important to assist with lautering and later with filtering. Refrigeration is recommended, but store at least below 70°F. The recommended shelf life is 12 months from the date the package is opened.

  • KegLand Core 360 Mini CO2 Regulator KegLand Core 360 Mini CO2 Regulator

KegLand Core 360 Mini CO2 Regulator | Interchangeable Gas Outlet | Swappable Pressure Gauge | SodaStream Compatible

    12 reviews

Unique Core Puncturing / Actuator results in zero gas lost from screwing in CO2 cartridges Interchangeable ball lock disconnect orientations. 45° for plastic QDs or 90° for stainless QDs 6.5mm Duotight compatible hose barb Swappable mini pressure gauge remains well protected within solid cast brass regulator body Corny-style 65psi Green PRV for added safety and manual depressurizing Switch from 16g to 74g CO2 cartridges with an adapter fitting The new Core 360 Mini CO2 Regulator from KegLand represents a huge jump forward in the mini regulator market. After much feedback on how to make mini regulators more compact, sturdy and efficient, the brilliant engineers at KegLand have come up with this mini-beast. The analog gauge is removable and can be swapped out with a gauge of a different pressure range or it can be swapped out for the Digital Mini Pressure Gauge. Heavy Duty Construction Starting with the body of the regulator, this unit is made from chrome-plated solid cast brass which means it will stand up to quite a bit of abuse. Unlike most mini regulators, the pressure gauge on the Core 360 is safely recessed in the regulator body, so if you ever drop it there is little chance that you'll damage the gauge. What's more, the gauge is removable, so you can swap it out with another mini gauge with a pressure range that better suits your application. Unique Cartridge Connection What really sets this unit apart from other mini regulators is the way in which you insert a CO2 cartridge. A common complaint with these types of regulators is that you can lose a lot of gas from the cartridge just from threading it into the regulator. There's that brief period where the cartridge has been punctured but you haven't fully threaded it into the regulator to form a seal. If you're not quick enough, this can result in a significant amount of lost gas. The Core 360 has a unique design feature where inserting the cartridge is a 2-step process. First you fully thread in the cartridge so it forms a seal before it's opened, and then you screw down the actuator pin to release gas into the regulator. Simple and effective. Furthermore, the Core 360 Mini Regulator is designed to be compatible with both 16g and 74g cartridges. Out of the box it will be ready to accept 16-gram 3/8"-24 UNF threaded cartridges. But with a simple adapter you can switch to 74-gram 5/8"-18 UNF threaded cartridges. Interchangeable Gas Outlet Another feature we haven't seen before on a mini regulator is the interchangeable gas outlet. You can use the swivel nut connection to directly attach the regulator to a flare ball lock disconnect, or you can swap to the 6.5mm Duotight-compatible barb and connect draft tubing. This is a great option if you want to dispense a commercial keg without the need of a ball lock to sanke coupler adapter. The regulator also has two outlet options at either a 45° or 90° angle which makes this the ideal mini regulator regardless of whether you use plastic or stainless steel ball lock disconnects. SodaStream Compatible If you remove the 16g cartridge bushing, you'll find TR21-4 female threads for use with SodaStream gas cylinders. These can be a great option for mobile dispensing as they provide much more gas than a CO2 cartridge and are more easily transported than a full CO2 tank. Includes: KegLand Core 360 Mini Regulator 6.5mm Duotight-compatible hose barb Female Flare Fitting for MFL Disconnects Port end cap 65psi Green PRV SodaStream to 16g thread bushing KegLand Part Number: KL20404 Warning: Do not overtighten onto your cylinder. It is recommended that you use a spanner to hold the neck of your SodaStream cylinder while attaching and detaching the Mini 360 Core Actuator Regulator. Get repeatable results by adding this flow meter to your oxygenation setup. Since most disposable oxgyen cylinders are used with simple regulators without gauges, it's hard to say exactly how much oxygen is being released. This device will allow you to dial in the flow rate and make sure you're adding the same amount of oxygen from batch to batch.
