  • Blichmann AutoSparge Blichmann AutoSparge

    Blichmann Stainless AutoSparge

    22 reviews

Have you longed for a sparging system with a "set-it-and-forget-it" design? The elegantly simple construction of Blichmann Engineering's AutoSparge™ automatically sets the hot liquor flow rate and liquid level in your mash tun. As you change the sparge rate into your boil kettle, the AutoSparge™ automatically responds by increasing or decreasing hot liquor flow to compensate and keeps a constant level in your mash tun.   Newly redesigned - 100% stainless steel, improved o-ring mounting and 1/2" NPT thread.   The AutoSparge™ level and flow control system is an awesome accessory for RIMS systems, and it also works great with gravity systems or with pumps! Wort gently rotates on top of the grain bed to reduce channeling and oxygen pick-up, and to increase extraction efficiency. With a constant hot liquor level over your grain bed, complicated rotating sparge arms are unnecessary!   ·         Stainless steel float ball, float arm, and valve body!   ·         Includes 18" silicone hose and stainless steel hose float ball.   ·         Fits any kettle larger than 12" in diameter, including converted kegs.   ·         Comes equipped with 6" float arm.  9" and 12" float arms available separately for increasing range              of motion. Min pot diameter for longer float arms is 15" and 18" respectively.

  • Blichmann HopBlocker Blichmann HopBlocker

    Blichmann Hop Blocker

    12 reviews

Traditional screen filters draw from the bottom of the kettle — immediately sucking all pellet hops and fine break material into the screen, where they plug. In Blichmann Engineering's HopBlocker™, preferential flow leaves settled fine break material (hops and trub) undisturbed at the bottom of the kettle while draining the majority of the wort through a coarse filter from the top down. When the wort level is just a couple of inches from the bottom of the kettle, the fine filter element is then exposed by lifting the shield, and the remainder of the wort is filtered. It's an intuitive design that allows the fine filter to work only on a small portion of the wort, not all of it. The HopBlocker™ will filter up to 95% of the break material and hops from your wort without plugging. While it is designed specifically to complement Blichmann Engineering's BoilerMaker™ brew kettles, the HopBlocker™can be installed in any manufacturer's kettle or keg.   PLEASE NOTE: The HopBlocker is designed for use with pellet hops only. Whole/loose hops will plug the unit. While using whole hops, or a mix of whole and pellet hops, you must bag your whole hops in a large muslin grain bag. This will not affect the utilization rate and will result in significantly less wort loss.

  • Wort Chiller - Superchiller for 10 Gallon Batches (50ft of 1/2 in. With Brass Fittings)

    Immersion Wort Chiller (50' x 1/2" w/ Brass Fittings)

    11 reviews

You can tell that an immersion chiller is truly meant to last by looking at its weight and craftsmanship, and you won’t find one heavier or higher quality than this Immersion Chiller. This is a take on our wildly popular immersion chillers, but it contains brass fittings for even more durability and a larger size for 10 gallon batches. If you want to cut your chilling time down, this is the immersion chiller to choose. Our immersion chiller is made of 50 feet of ½ inch copper tubing, which is some of the highest quality tubing that you can use in your brewing process. It features brass fittings for garden hoses on either end, giving you easy access to your water supply, as well as a bend at the top to fit over the lip of the kettle. If you’re looking for a truly premium chiller to use with a 10 gallon batch in a converted keg or a kettle, this is the one for you.  The measurements are: Approx. 10" diameter, 13" to the top coil, 24" to the bend to go over the lip of the kettle.

  • Water Efficient Wort Chiller- 25 ft x 3/8 in With Tubing

Super Efficient Immersion Wort Chiller | 25 Feet of 3/8" Copper | Elevated Coil With Integrated Turbulator Cools Faster | Uses 40% Less Water

    15 reviews

25 Feet of 3/8" Copper Coils Raised Up To Where The Heat Is Integrated Turbulator Cools Faster and Uses 40% Less Water 25 Feet of 3/8" Copper Includes Tubing and Standard Garden House / Utility Sink Thread Manufactured in the USA Save water during the cooling process with our Super Efficient Immersion Wort Chiller. During the manufacturing process we build in an inner water turbulator that causes the cold water to spin through the coil. This reduces the laminar flow found in a standard wort chiller where only the outer water is cooled as it travels through the coil. The result is a 40% reduction in water, and faster cooling, when compared with our standard chillers.  But that is when we compare it to OUR standard chillers with the coils at the top. When you compare to other chillers on the market the results are even better. ALL of our chillers feature coils that raised up to where the heat is.  As we learned in school heat rises so when other wort chillers have all the coils on the bottom they actually never cool unless you stir your wort. The problem with stirring is that you mix up all your trub/sediment and you risk airborne contamination... neither of which is good. Our chillers cool fast and allow you to keep your lid on your kettle during the critical cooling period.  Constructed from 25' of 3/8'' copper tubing. 8' of vinyl tubing attached to both the in and the out with a female garden hose fitting on the in side. Use our CE21S hose thread adaptor to attach to your sink. Perfect for a kitchen environment where the sink is close by. This size chiller is ideal for our 8 Gallon Heavy Duty Kettles! The measurements are: Approx. 10" diameter, 8" to the top coil, 15" to the bend to go over the lip of the kettle.

  • Kit (Extract) - Russian River's Pliny the Elder Double IPA - PLACEHOLDER Kit (Extract) - Russian River's Pliny the Elder Double IPA - PLACEHOLDER

Russian River Brewing Company Pliny the Elder® Double IPA | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | Extract

    4 reviews

This BrewMaster Series kit was scaled down to a homebrew batch size in collaboration with the brewmasters at Russian River Brewing Company THE original Pliny the Elder recipe, given to us directly by Vinnie at Russian River Brewing Company High bitterness and intense hop flavor with a dry malt finish Includes whole Cascade, Magnum, Simcoe®, Columbus, and Centennial hops Estimated ABV: 8% Estimated IBUs: 100+ Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Pliny the Elder is a truly amazing beer with a cult like following, and was once one of the hardest IPAs to find, as Russian River brewed it in very limited quantities. Depending on where you live, it may still be next to impossible to track down! But with this killer clone kit you can make your own Pliny and perhaps you will develop your own cult following where you are worshiped by your beer loving friends. (Hey, it could happen!). Light malt color, huge hops, and a dry finish. Be prepared for an outrageous amount of flavor. This is THE original Pliny the Elder recipe, given to us directly by Vinnie at Russian River Brewing Company. This beer is an intense Double IPA. High bitterness with a dry malt finish, 8% alcohol, 6 separate hot side hop additions, 3 separate dry hop additions, and intense hop flavor and aroma! Pliny sets the standard for Double IPAs! Who is Pliny the Elder? This beer is named after Gainus Plinius Secondus, or Pliny the Elder, a Roman author, lawyer, naval man and naturalist who first mentions the botanical name for hops in his writings - lupus salictarius, which translated from Latin means Wolf Among Willows. Sadly, Pliny died while helping people escape the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in August, 79 AD. Pliny the Younger was the nephew of Pliny the Elder and is the name of another outrageous and highly sought-after beer from Russian River. Russian River Brewing If you have not tasted beers from Russian River Brewing Company, you should put it way up on your priority list. This is a brewery with huge demand that keeps quality as a first priority. Owner Vinnie Cilurzo is also unique in that he still actively brews and tests recipes and ingredients (on a MoreBeer! Brewsculpture by the way) on a constant basis. Amazing. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.070-74 SRM (Color Range): 10 IBUs: 198-202 (this is a theoretical number, you will actually get around 100 IBU) Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 8% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. To find our yeast recommendations, choose your preferred kit option above and then select the drop-down menu under “Yeast Options”.  For more info, click on the recommended yeast(s) below in the “You Might Also Need” section below. All included steeping grains will come milled.   Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME) MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

  • Kit (All-Grain) - Russian River's Blind Pig IPA - PLACEHOLDER Kit (All-Grain) - Russian River's Blind Pig IPA - PLACEHOLDER

Russian River Brewing Company Blind Pig® IPA | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain

    2 reviews

This BrewMaster Series kit was scaled down to a homebrew batch size in collaboration with the brewmasters at Russian River Brewing Company This is the original homebrew recipe that was the basis for Russian River Brewing Company's famous Blind Pig IPA Won Silver Medals at the World Cup of Beer and the Great American Beer Festival in 1996 Includes Magnum, Cascade, and Willamette hops Estimated ABV: 6.5% Estimated IBUs: 60 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer The original Double IPA! Vinnie Cilurzo began homebrewing in 1989 while in college. In 1994 Vinnie started the Blind Pig Brewing Company in Temecula, CA, a small, low-budget micro-brewery known for their extremely hoppy IPA—an IPA which won silver medals at both the Great American Beer Festival and the World Beer Cup. Vinnie sold his share in Blind Pig and was hired to manage and brew at the Russian River Brewing Company, a start-up brewery by Korbel Champagne in Guerneville, CA. In late 2002 Korbel decided to get out of the beer business and sold the Russian River name and brand to Vinnie who moved the brewery to Santa Rosa, CA, 90 miles North of San Francisco, where he and his wife Natalie opened a brew-pub which serves delicious bites and, of course, all of the Russian River Ales. Vinnie has won 10 awards at the Great American Beer Festival in just six years and was named Small Brewing Company Brewmaster of the Year in 1999. Russian River's smashing success continues to this day, expanding and opening a second brewery in Windsor, CA. Almost every beer that Vinnie makes commercially started out as a homebrew recipe at one point or another. Even as a professional brewer, Vinnie still homebrews at least 5 or 6 times a year. This is the original homebrew recipe that was the basis for Blind Pig IPA which won Silver Medals at the World Cup of Beer and the Great American Beer Festival in 1996, the last year Vinnie brewed it. Two dry hop additions along with 1 oz of American Oak are added directly to the fermenter after the first week of fermentation. To say it is a very unique, extremely flavorful IPA is an understatement. Vinnie recommends using White Labs California yeast, WLP001. Makes 5 Gallons Estimated Original Gravity:1.065-70 SRM (Color Range): 7 IBUs: 60 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 6.5% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. • Secondary Regulator - 2 Way

Taprite Secondary Regulator | 2 Way | Wall Bracket for Easy Mounting | 5/16" Barb

    4 reviews

Push different CO2 pressures to different kegs using your existing CO2 set up. Secondary regulators do not attach directly to CO2 tanks. They are designed to be used inline when you already have our dual gauge CO2 regulator, D1060. A secondary regulator allows you run multiple pressures from one tank of gas. CO2 line from your existing system would attach to secondary input. Gas lines coming from the secondary can then be adjusted to different pressures (Pressure coming out of secondary can never be greater than what is coming in). Applications would include situations where you want different levels of carbonation in different beers or you want to run soda at a higher pressure than your beers. All secondaries have wall brackets for mounting. This is to go in line via flexible tubing, not to hard mount on to an existing regulator to make a product such as the D1065. Secondary regulators can be ganged (attached) together.
