This Reactor Rod was custom built to be used with the 2 bbl MB Conical Fermenter, but can easily be integrated to other vessels with a 4" tri-clamp top port. Unlike other in-solution cooling coils on the market, the Reactor Rod utilizes a straight vertical design. Without all the curves and bends of a cooling coil, it is easier to scrub and sanitize the unit prior to setup and after use. The four cooling rods are 41" long measured from the bottom of the T.C. fitting.

There is an adjustable PRV in case you need to lower the pressure for long term storage. The 4" TC welded to the top makes inspection and cleaning a breeze. The dip tube is about an inch off the bottom to help keep non-yeast solids that separate from your repitch. 1/2 bbl is perfect for up to a 10 bbl batch with most yeasts. A sturdy Stainless Steel cart with nylon wheels allows for easy manueverability in the winery, and a lifetime of use. The pump can be controlled from the panel itself, or remotely via the wired controller, giving this workhorse even more flexibility. We worked for a year to develop this particular pump with Enoitalia of Italy. The value and price are really amazing. So much that we stopped making our own line of Chunky Pumps at the end of 2016. Enoitalia has been making pumps for decades and while they are excellent at destemmer crushers and other equipment, pumps are their core specialty. We will support the pump in the USA with common spare parts but we also have the backing and support of Enoitalia if anything was to go wrong. MB® Conical Reactor Rod | 4" T.C. | 1 bbl
This Reactor Rod was custom built to be used with the 1 bbl MoreBeer! Pro Conical Fermenter, but can easily be integrated to other vessels with a 4" tri-clamp top port. Unlike other in-solution cooling coils on the market, the Reactor Rod utilizes a straight vertical design. Without all the curves and bends of a cooling coil, it is easier to scrub and sanitize the unit prior to setup and after use. The four cooling rods are 32" long measured from the bottom of the T.C. fitting.
