Good for adding oak cubes or chips to a fermenting wine without the mess! Just sanitize the bag, add your oak and toss them in! Can also be used to press small batches of wine grapes: Line a plastic bucket (w/ spigot) with this bag and add your grapes or must. Tie off the bag and then use your punch down tool to press off the juice/wine. The mesh bag will keep the drain port of the bucket clear and will make cleanup a lot easier! This bag is made of nylon, and measures 29 in x 29 in, with hole size in mesh of approximatley 0.4-0.8 mm is size.

A great way to drain your carboys without having to hold them upside down the entire time. These will drain the carboy, although not as well as our BE450 due to how close the mouth of the carboy is to the ground. Note that a carboy can fall out of the stand if left unattended, so please be careful when using this product. Carboys will not fit in this drainer if a carboy handle is on the carboy.

Keep your yeast or ML happy and your ferment warm during those cold winter months with this flexible heater made by Fermentap. Using tape to adhere, this flexible heating wrap can be attached directly to your fermenter or can be used to heat the space in a box (or refrigerator) that the fermenter is in. Depending on your configuration and insulation, you can increase the temperature of your wine from 5-20 degrees Fahrenheit. If using carboy or bucket you can attach directly using tape (as seen in photo above.) We recommend electrical tape as it sticks and unsticks the easiest. Heating can be contolled by sticking either the entire wrap or a portion of the wrap to the fermenter. In an open evironment we see a heating differential between carboy and ambient of 10-15 degrees. This differential can be increased by using our carboy bag to insulate a carboy (this has been tested.) To decrease the temperature differential, stick only a portion of the heating wrap to the fermenter. For precise results, we recommend using our temp controller (FE610) and carboy thermowell (FE612) for the ultimate in fermentation temperature contol. For heating small stainless variable volume fermenters and barrels up to 30 gallons a single FermWrap! works great. For volumes of 60 gallons or more, we recommend using two or more FermWraps (we do this in our winery Olin Wines all the time!). Fits PET Carboys. A breathable Silicone stopper that acts as both a stopper and an airlock. Unique design allows CO2 pressure to escape but keeps Oxygen and airborne contamination out. Quickly became our stopper of choice for wine. Used by numerous commercial wineries. Also has great application for beer ferments: Will create a vacuum if fermenting wort cools (as opposed to pulling water in from your traditional airlock.) Air tight seal is great for extended fermented lager when CO2 production is still present but very slight.

As far as bucket spigots go, this is about as cool as you get. First, unlike many other designs, these spigots don't leak (bonus).  Second it rotates even when sealed so it won't hit the table or floor (duh!). Third the outlet barb has two different diameters so that you can attach  3/8" or 1/2" tubing (thats cool). The interior nut on these spigots also have a unique design where the opening can be rotated up to effectively block sediment if used in a bucket for fermentation or can be rotated down when used in a bottling bucket (genius).  These are also just beefier than other spigots on the market.
