The Blow Tie Spunding Valve is used to release excess pressure on a pressurized fermenter or from a keg while doing pressure transfers. This Duotight check valve is a great idea for protecting your regulator. It has a low opening pressure of 1 psi. This check valve is suitable for clean liquids such as water or for gas. Since it cannot be disassembled for cleaning, we do not recommend it for beverage applications. The internal components are made from stainless steel.
