I purchased used kegs to start with but wanted one new one. I love the new one no dents clean parts. It was worth the price to get a new one
I was tired of the "quirks" of my old (really OLD) reconditioned kegs with the occasional gas leaks different size wrenches needed on the posts etc. These are quite the upgrade and have good sanitary welds. They "just work" like a keg should.
I had to buy new lids for these the ones that came with are light weight and hard to use otherwise the keg is great.
Love these kegs. I have 12 of them and not ever a problem with any of them
I have three of these kegs and will get more. I love them. CAUTION: That said I feel compelled to provide a cautionary tale to help prevent anyone as inept as I from seriously injuring themselves. When removing the lid obviously the first thing you want to be sure to do is to release any pressure in the keg (I did this three times). That said you still may find that the lid is "stuck" in place (as was the case in a brand new keg right out of the box). Please DO NOT press down with your thumbs or any other body part in an attempt to free/break the seal. There is a very thin "ridge" around the edge of the top opening that will slice through your meat nerve and tendon once you are successful at breaking the seal. Tap gently with a block of wood or anything other than a body part to break that seal. Safe and Happy Kegging!

This is a great keg and hands down better than any of that “made in China” stuff. These kegs are made in Italy and of exceptional quality they are all I use for my Kombucha micro brewery.
The best kegs on the market very happy with quality built product. Made in Italy
This is my 4th AEB keg. Much better quality than other brands. Worth the extra cost.
I've only used it twice so far but seems very sturdy and well made. The only issue is that it can be tricky getting a tight seal on the lid but with some trial and error I figured it out.
To start this is a fine keg. I can't say anything bad about its performance and the many other positive reviews about this keg's build are right. Except for the edge of the hole where the lid sits. Sadly it took a trip to the Emergency Room and six stiches in my thumb to find out how sharp the edge is. I had checked the new keg for leaks by lubricating the O-ring pressurizing and storing it in a keezer. When I later depressurized it the lid stuck. I pulled again on the relief valve to be sure there was no gas the lid still stuck. I pushed on the lid until it gave way and – slice! I’ve been kegging for 15+ years. I own three Spartanburgs bought new at the time and still going strong. I later checked their edges to be sure I didn’t misjudge the risk (they were not sharp). My hope is MoreBeer will ask the manufacturer to be sure the metal edges are dull.
Way better than the used reconditioned kegs I was using. Good quality at a reasonable price.
I have five Torpedo kegs and four of these AEB kegs for my home brewing. I have always liked the all-metal pressure relief valves upward curving lid latches smoothly functioning ball lock posts and perfect seal the AEB kegs provide. Although Torpedo kegs have some nice features including a roomier top area lighter weight and marked beer and CO2 posts they can be difficult to seal. Unfortunately the last two of these AEB kegs I just received are very difficult to seal just like Torpedos. With both of the new ones I noticed small irregularities around the lid opening. After a half-dozen tries each I finally resorted to opening the CO2 flow to provide pressure while clamping the lid. If AEB kegs are just as difficult to seal as Torpedos there is little reason to spend the extra $50 apiece.
I already had two of their 2.5 gallon kegs and really liked them no problems. Needed a good 5 gallon keg and decided to go with the best.
Works great shipping was quick
High quality kegs. Not cheap but a good value.
The rubber makes it easier to drain and keeps your fridge/freezer floor safe
I've had the keg over a year. Quite a labor saving over bottling.
Good quality keg at a good price. Recommended.
Great keg with very high quality. Would buy again if I needed another.
I got the ball cap very easy to use fits in my fridge easy as well
Timely delivery. Condition of keg as advertised. Decent price
Third one I’ve bought as I have a two keg modified refrigerator an the third is to make getting a tap up an flowing quicker. I’d rather pay few more $$ for a Cornelius Keg from AEB Italy rather than used or unknown manufacturer.
These kegs cost a little more than other similar one I have purchased but the rubber is better and the lid handle is easier to grab and loosed due to its shape. It's nice to have the IN/OUT labeled on the rubber part.
Good quality. After some use only had to replace the ball-lock o-ring gasket (the external one gas and liquid). So I recommend you add some off these o-ring as well.
Beautiful kegs! As soon as I opened my shipment of 4 new kegs I could tell the quality and workmanship of these kegs are unquestionably. Makes me wish I would have started with new kegs from the beginning. I already have three of the four filled and contents carbonating.
Beautiful quality fair price.
I needed another keg and these are the best. This is the third one I have gotten from MoreBeer. You won't be disappointed!
I wouldn't buy any other keg . . . and haven't. Craftsmanship is impeccable!
Wish I would have started buying new years ago. these are GREAT and worth the extra. I have to wonder how the China ones compare but sticking with what I know at this point.
I have 3 and wouldn't settle for less!
I'll be buying more to replace some older ones.
Love that I don't have to clean a heavily used Keg. Not sure how these compare to the cheaper chines knock off. All I can say is I am not disappointed with my purchase. I have 3 of them all working great
Great Price Free Shipping Nice Keg!
