Beer Faucet Shank | 2.5" | Welded 5/16" Barb | Includes Plastic Collar

    Description

Comes with a welded 5/16" nipple, back nut, and plastic collar. It requires a 1" hole for installation. When set in place, the shank will only have about 1-1/4" of length to pass through your wall or fridge door, due to the length of the collar and back nut.

To test for coolant lines on a freezer start with a warm freezer then plug the unit in with the lid open. You should be able to see the lines form condensation on the inside of the freezer where there are lines running. Please still use caution when drilling.

The barb size is rounded to 5/16" OD (0.31"). The true size is 7.5mm (0.29").

        A little bit short

3.125" Total Length 2.5" Length Without Nipple Approximately 5/8” are needed to account for the thickness of the finishing collar on the front and locknut on the back. If I'm doing my math correctly based on this description they should measure 1 7/8" thread for pass through. I found them barely able to fit 1 1/2" lumber of my collar. They still worked but I would have liked to at least flush the nut on the back or just past. Just FYI still a good product and worked for my setup.

What size is the nut? I am looking to add a 1.5 TC fitting to attach a faucet to my brite tank for serving purposes.

        MoreWine

Hi Eric - The nut is 1.5" on the widest side and 1.25" on the other side.

        MoreWine

The shank is a 1in OD and designed to sandwich through a wall or kegerator. If you’re using tri clamps they make sample ports with a ball valve shut off.

What is it made off? Stainless or brass?

        MoreWine

Purchased in May 2022 the shank is chrome plated brass (not stainless) with a brass nut.

        MoreWine

Don't believe the other answers like I did this is chrome plated brass. The exact item I received is from Krome Dispense model C322 right on the box it says "CP Brass." I will be returning because I'm only looking for stainless.
