Filtered my wine perfectly needed to swap filters after two batches went through it but this is expected. Wine came out super clear love it!

I've used the finer pads in the past and my beer just clogs them up and beer leaks out all over the place due to higher pressure than the filter housing can handle. Going to these 5-7 micron pads worked so well and I filtered the 5-gallons very quickly without any leaks

Perfect filter level. Used 2x so far for a brown ale and a fruit ale.

This handled virtually everything that needed to be filtered and is all you will need for meads wine or ales. Maybe a lager could use something finer but this will suit most people's needs. Do soak the filters (I used a weak Iodophor solution). Position carefully and tighten using the recommended procedures to assure a good fit.

Usually can filter around 10 gallons (one batch) with each filter

I cold crash the beer then filter cold once with the polish pads and achieve a better clarity.

these filters work well with the filter unit they are good for 1-2 five gallon batches before replacing filter.
