I use this anytime I want a clear beer on the malty side. Perfect for my Kolsch Helles and west coast beers. Obviously I don't use it on hazy beers like a hefe wit neipa. I find that it doesn't affect the body or flavor too much but it does give a very slight nudge to the maltiness when I sampled the same beer before and after adding. I add half a bottle at kegging time. The first time I used it I thought: this reminds me of a large-scale commercial beer. Clean crisp etc...

Easy to use works well to clarify.

I used about 1/4 of the bottle on a Mexican lager that had been lagering for about three weeks. I let it sit for three days after adding and then legged. Beer came out crystal clear with no filtering. This was my first attempt at this beer so I can’t speak to its clarity without using biofine.

This product works well when used during the transfer from primary to secondary/bright tank as it is easier to get it thoroughly mixed in during transfer. I doubt that there would be sufficient yeast left after clarification for bottle conditioning so plan on kegging.

Great product for clarity

Biofine combined with a cold crash produced a very clear ale. Used about 27 ml in a 4 1/2 gallon batch over about 3 days. I recommend biofine for helping to create a very clear beer.

Expensive for the amount you get but it works great. This is the lazy way which is why I spend the $3

I've used this in a few kegs of beer now and will vouch for it. It dropped a hoppy German Pils to crystal clarity in a matter of days. (Great when using quick-lager method!) It also took a heavily hopped red ale to brilliantly clear in the same amount of time. Both beers were hop forward and retained a fresh late hop flavor profile. I was concerned that it would strip the hops from my beer but it did more to focus the flavor profile. In the past I have used ClarityFerm and standard gelatin and found this to be superior to each. Similar to gelatin in terms of performance with less fuss.

Makes clarifying so simple. Seems to be better than my typical gelatine addition.

I needed to quickly clear a Kolsch that I had made. Just 1 oz in a 5 gallon Corne keg gave me sparkling clear beer

I've only used this a few times but it seems to work well though not as effective as gelatin for clarity but does not pull flavor from the beer that I've noticed.

I add this to every serving keg these days and after a short time for settling I can pull off a little cloudy beer leaving me with a nice clean keg. Some beers/yeasts can need a little heavier addition than others but it seems to do the trick everytime

This clear clarifier is the will make mud crystal clear. Hands down best clarifier out there for the price.

Always add a teaspoon or two to the keg before transferring. Crystal clear beer every time I want it.

Bought this a year ago. Lost in back of beer fridge. Last few batches I have used it. Is as clear as any beer I have filtered at 1 micron.Week latter I would say its brilliant clarity. As soon as I run out of filters I will be buying more of this incredible stuff.

Second pint out of the keg is always crystal clear. Stuff is amazing consistent and easy to use. My only complaint? The size of the product. A one-oz bottle...seriously? Give me a 4oz bottle so that the materials don't take up 80 pct of the price. As usual Morebeer shipping is super-fast even from California. Morebeer has become my online supplier when my LHBS is expensive or out of stock.

So far I have implemented this in 2 batches and I love it! Prior to my purchase of this I had a batch with 2.5oz dry hopped pale which came out hazy from the dry hopping. The next batches were a K?_lsch which came out crystal clear without the long cold conditioning and a FW Double Jack clone. The clone had TONS of dry hops and using Biofine at 10ml per 5gal made this beer clearer than my previous 2.5oz dry hopped batch. Im sold!

Used 1 oz in 5 gallon batch of IIPA. Added to keg while racking from fermenter. Had crystal clear beer in 3 days. Awesome product.

I have used this a couple times along with Polyclar. I add to secondary and then cold crash later add Polyclar let sit for a week filter and keg; crystal clear results.

Works great! Easy to use. With this and a whirfloc tablet; you'll be crystal clear!

Only had one chance to use. Seemed to help had a lot of dry hops and it cleared them out. Still had some other haze.

I add this to the keg when racking beer in. Works quickly and I keep my beer at cellar temp

I've used unflavored gelatin. Works pretty well but can actually get a slight flavor from it...if you can smell it when you heat it to 150 you'll taste it. This Biofine works insanely fast when your beer is very cold. Get it to 34 in keg or carboy. Takes about 2 days to cool all the way down after initial crash but do it. Add 1 tbsp and watch EVERYTHING drop out. Did it with a lager after three weeks an IPA and another dry hopped beer. After secondary...even with English yeast like WLP007 or WLP002. 24 hours after adding the amount of yeast and particulate that comes out of the keg in that first pour is crazy. Crystal clarity on the lager still slight hop haze from the dry hopped IPA which is to be expected. I do not notice the loss of any flavor compounds either. This is the only thing I will buy from now on. I'm stunned. It's vegan and made from inert silicates (SiO2). Basically chelates yeast and polyphenols.

This did an amazing job of clearing my beer. I forgot whirl flock and was concerned about my beer clearing so I put this in. It got her done!

Brilliant clarity without much hassle

this product cleared up my beer to comercial quality clarity in less than a week. The key is getting the beer as cold as possible before putting it in the beer. I only used 3 ml's of biofine for 5 gal of helles bock. The beer was at 34F. Haven't tested the age / quick expiration of product yet but I'll vouch for its effectiveness. Note: if you are unable to get a solid cold break during chilling this product (nor any I know) will clear your beer at lower temps.

I have used it a couple of times with less than stellar results. However I have also read that it loses power with time. I might have waited a while to try it when I order it. I am planning to give it another try.

This product clears beer/wine/cider like a champ. Just startling performance. Downside is that it expires relatively quickly compared to other clarifying options. Just plan accordingly since I got funky flavor when I used after the date. My mistake there.

i have always added this stuff to my beer and put it in the chest freezer at 38F it works quite well. i leave it in for 2 weeks just to make sure my beer is nice and clear but this definatly speeds the process up
