While I did have most of the part already I didn't have everything necessary to get it up and running. Unfortunately I didn't realize this until I went set up the beer gun.

I bought it for the convenience and time saving of not having to experiment with fitting sizes and ordering parts I didn't know would fit... now I still had to buy a T fitting and extra hose. those 2 components should come with the kit standard. Convenience is why I bought the kit!!! otherwise you have to choose between co2 purge or refilling your keg.

Agree with previous posts. Most likely if you keg you probably have most of what is needed except for possibly the gas line adaptor. However it was nice to get all the needed pieces at once to avert trip to store. Nice convenience.

I bought this with the beer gun and discovered that it was completely unnecessary. I do appreciate having the extra parts around and it is a good deal in that sense a ball lock valve alone is ~$12.

... it kind of expensive for what you get... I had most of these parts lying around anyway. Should have looked at it more closely before buying.
