Brew Bucket - Replacement Valve and Racking Arm

    Description

Replacement 3/8 inch ball valve and racking arm for the Brew Bucket and Brewmaster Bucket. Brewers grade 304 stainless construction. Comes with an external o-ring that seals between the valve and bucket along with an internal o-ring (inside the ball valve) for connecting the racking arm.

3/8 in. tubing works great with a hose clamp and this valve, or use 5/16 in. for a tighter fit.

Customers praised this valve and racking arm replacement for working well and being easy to clean. However, multiple shoppers reported leakage issues with the o-rings, noting they "have a tendency to leak" and could benefit from more durable seals. Some wished the racking arm was longer to minimize leftover liquid.

Works as intended however has more of a tendency to leak with the o-ring located on the outside of the bucket. Had to rotate the assembly after filled to find the sweet spot to stop a weep that started a week after having been tested and subsequent filling. Nut can only be tightened so much and suspect leakage occurs through the threads. Same problem with two units I own.

Not just for stainless! These also work in all manners of plastic vessels.

Love them. Shame they don't come with a more durable set of O rings. I have a few plastic fermenters I have added these to and getting ready to set up another pair.

Is the barb removable? And if so what is the size?

Racking arm moves to easily. Found it pointed well below where I had it after draining Fermenter and sucked up unwanted yeast/trub. My other fermenter has a nut to lock it in place. Also would like a larger OD drain to move the beer. Any solutions?
