Oversized 3" Bottom Port: Clog-free bottom opening is ready for dumping trub or adding an optional butterfly valve and collection jar (requires leg extensions for added clearance).
-
Premium Construction: Built from durable 304 stainless steel and features 3/8" adjustable leveling feet.

Meet the BrewBuilt® CORE, a true jacketed conical shrunk down to fit the way most homebrewers actually brew. It has the same welded glycol jacket, tri-clamp hardware and Pressure Pack top-down racking you'd find on our X3, but it stands under 24" tall. Set it on a workbench, slide it under a counter or tuck it into a closet corner. It runs a 5 gal batch with plenty of headspace, and when you're ready to dump trub and harvest yeast, it grows with you.

Welded Glycol Jacket
For homebrewers, the holy grail of temperature control has always been an external cooling jacket. Internal coils are cheaper to make, but they're one more thing to clean, they get in the way of trub settling, and they struggle to cold crash in a warm room. The CORE's welded jacket wraps the outside of the vessel, so your beer only touches smooth stainless. Hold a clean lager temperature, keep a kveik ferment in check, or crash cold to drop yeast and hops before kegging. Pair it with an IceMaster Max 2 glycol chiller and the BrewBuilt Insulated Tubing Kit, and feed cold glycol into the lower jacket port.
Big Conical Features, Small Footprint
Not everyone has room for a tall, floor-standing fermenter. On its standard leveling feet the CORE stands about 23.9" tall, low enough to fit under most kitchen counters and overhead shelves. The thread-in feet let you level it on an uneven bench or floor. When you want clearance under the cone for a dump valve and collection jar, add the CORE Leg Extensions to raise it to about 33.9".
Pressure Pack with Floating Dip Tube
The included 4" Pressure Pack lid uses a floating dip tube that draws beer from the top down, so you always pull the clearest, most sediment-free beer in the tank. Use it to take samples, or push finished beer into a keg with low-pressure CO2. Closed transfers keep oxygen away from your beer when it's most vulnerable, which can be the difference between a beer that tastes great for a week and one that tastes great for months.
Rated to 15 psi
Both the tank and the glycol jacket are rated to 15 psi. The PRV built into the 8" lid cap protects the tank during transfers and storage, but it isn't enough on its own for fermentation because krausen can clog it. To ferment, spund or carbonate under pressure, add the BrewBuilt Kit for Fermenting Under Pressure. It brings the same hardware you'd find on a commercial unitank: a dedicated spunding valve, a sealed pressure gauge and a dedicated PRV.
8" Tri-Clamp Top Port
The 8" tri-clamp top opening seals quickly and securely, with no band clamp to fight. It's also wide enough to get a hand and a brush inside, so cleaning the CORE is as easy as cleaning a bucket.
Oversized 3" Bottom Port
The CORE ships with a 3" tri-clamp end cap on the bottom port, so it's a sealed, simple fermenter right out of the box. That oversized 3" port is the same size as the X3's, which leaves plenty of room to dump trub and dry hops without clogging. Add a 3" butterfly valve and the Flex Chamber Collection Jar and you can dump trub, harvest yeast and watch fermentation through a clear jar, all without opening the tank.
Make It a CORE Loaded
Want the full conical experience on day one? The CORE Loaded package adds everything you need for trub dumps and yeast harvesting:
-
CORE Double-Threaded Leg Extensions (set of 4), raising the CORE to about 33.9"
-
3" TC bottom butterfly valve
-
Flex Chamber Collection Jar for trub removal and yeast harvesting
-
Extra 3" TC clamp and gasket to mount the Flex Chamber
Recommended Accessories
-
BrewBuilt IceMaster Max 2 Glycol Chiller: Quiet, compact cooling with two independent pumps and controllers, so you can run a second fermenter alongside your CORE.
-
BrewBuilt Insulated Tubing Kit: Insulated lines that stop sweating and dry-break quick disconnects that keep glycol off the floor.
-
BrewBuilt Kit for Fermenting Under Pressure: Required to ferment, spund or seal the CORE during an active fermentation.
-
CORE Double-Threaded Leg Extensions: Raise the CORE about 10" for room under the cone.

Please note: Never exceed 15 psi in the tank or the glycol jacket. Always release pressure before removing any tri-clamp fitting. The built-in PRV is not sufficient for fermentation; use the Kit for Fermenting Under Pressure to ferment or seal the CORE during an active fermentation. Read the CORE manual before first use.
