Boy oh boy oh boy oh boy do these mesh bags work great to reduce the amount of trub when I transfer wort to the fermentor. Great for dry hopping too. Totally awesome.

I used this bag to hold several different spices in a pumpkin beer I brewed. I used this in the boil at flame-out and this bag's mesh size is perfect for containing the crushed spices and letting the wort in at the same time. Great product!

It's a hop bag it'll reduce the amount of matter that gets transferred into the carboy.

I used the bag to dryhop with hops and lemon thyme for a saison. Hold it down with a few marbles and some dental floss and it keeps everything in one spot. Would buy again.

Been using this forever on my hop spider. Has an awesome green tint to it now which makes me like it even more.

I now only dry hop in these bad boys after a few clogged poppet valves.

I bought a few of these hop bags hoping to keep most of the hop material out of the fermentor when racking after the boil. The first time I used them the drawstrings (which I had tied into a shoelace knot) came undone during the boil and all the hops came out. I thought about tying a tighter more permanent knot the next time but didn't want to deal with untying it while wet in order to clean the bags. So I used heat-safe silicone rubber bands to close the bags instead. They worked great to keep the bags closed but much of the hop material still came through the mesh of the bags. I will probably still use these because they kept most of the hop matter out of my fermentor.

The bags are heavy duty and will last a long time. Well worth a couple of extra bucks

Works great for hops in the boil I've also used it to add oak cubes in the keg.

It's hard to find reusable bags in this size - my local store only has the small disposable hop bags and large brew-in-a-bag. This has been a part of my signature special dry-hopping recipe for years - the size matters!

Used in the boil for my 1 oz. and 2 oz. additions kept most of the hops in the bag but still let the water boil through for a good yield.

The zipper function is a big plus over the drawstring bags keeping more of the unwanted elements out of your wort.

I decided to try this during my boil for hop additions to help leave the hops behind when I move the wort to the fermenter. It was fantastic and made the process that much easier! I cleaned by rinsing then letting it sit in Oxyclean for over 30 minutes then rinsed again. I recommend using multiple if you are doing sizable hop additions such as for a pale ale and IPA.

allowed to keep all the hop pellets in the bag and not in the brew. easy to clean just reverse the bag and it comes clean easily.
