In expensive works well with the correct tubing. No leaks and not exactly easy to remove but can be removed. This was a no brainer. I did make a CO2 distro system with this into an inexpensive kitchen refrigerator with the tank and distro system in the fridge. Doing this takes planning organization and space in the fridge or you will find yourself unhappy with the results. it works but probably not like you though it would unless you plan it out carefully. The same for a multi keg kegerator..
The guidelines say to tighten with your fingers and then go another 90 degrees. This is flat-out wrong. Gas will escape. You have to tighten these things way past finger-tight plus 90 degrees and because the plastic is soft it's very easy to strip the threads. You have to know exactly how far to tighten then and you learn that by destroying one or two.
I'm reworking my Keezer and this is part of the redo and these work great. I haven't had a single leak
Had to tighten more than directions said to. Finger tight then used wrench until resistance felt then another 1/2 turn. Used soapy water test to verify seal. Duotight system held pressure for more than a week before I discontinued test.
This Duotight system works great. Like building Legos but for beer

Not a good use on regulator with brass fitting. you need the insert and it's hard to get in. will change to Duo with 1/4 NPT to go into regulator next time. Love Duoptight completely change on all my gas and fluid line to Duotight PS now come up with a Duotight Cap
I have both pin locks and ball lock kegs so it easy just to change the 1/4" fitting with the 8 mm tube so I put them on the connectors and just change the to a different connector by plugging or plugging the tubing
Goes together easily
I really like the versatility of the quick connect. Tighten them down on your regulator and never have to remove them.
These fittings are awesome. Easy Peasy.... I changed-out all my plumbing to this and it now the kegerator pours beautifully. I changed everything to duotight with a 10ft hose on each valve. I say 10' hose and 10psi for pressurizing the kegs. It worked beautifully for both lagers and IPAs.
I replaced the tower on my kegerator and decided to try the Duotight fittings. Super simple to put it together and ended up buying all of the parts to do the CO2 side as well.
No leaks! Easy to install and replace. Changed overt all my liuid lines using these evabarrier tubing and Pluto Beer guns! Love it!
Bought to adapt mfl ball valve to push-connect gas line
Simple and quick attachment makes intial setup easy with not having to have deal with attempting to stretch tubing over Male fixture.
Very efficient and easy to use always Double check
these work great IF you have them on correctly. It is very easy to over tighten and snap the fitting in half just using your fingers. I finger tightened three of them to cracking point before I realized it was the design of the unit and not a faulty set I'd gotten. Again they work just be careful tightening.
Makes moving things around so easy.
Super easy to use I have these on all my kegging products
Awesomely convenient
Just tested it out the other day I really like this so far hoping it holds up simple connecting that hasn't leaked and holds.
No complaints..does what its supposed to do
Really easy to use. I use a set of these for co2. Works well.
Must use nylon flared waher with metal flare (i.e. when not on keg adapter) or you will have a leak. They can fail when over tightened. Now that I know the pitfalls I still use them everywhere for gas fittings.
Super easy to install allows me to swap my CO2 tank between gas to liquid disconnects in seconds. Ruined the threads on one by cross-threading - if you feel resistance while screwing them on before they're fully seated remove it and rethread.
Simple versatile no leaks.
Super easy can’t believe I haven’t used it before
Easy to use and absolutely no leaks !
I love duotight fittings. They are extremely easy to use and provide a leak free seal.
Disappointed with the installation instructions... that say finger tight plus 180º (1/2 turn) more. I did exactly that with a quality CM Becker ball lock but found it distorted the Duotight and pulled the plastic threads. I ruined one fitting by exactly following those instructions... Subsequently I found the ideal torque is finger tight plus 90º (1/4 turn) more. That seals properly keeps the fitting intact and it doesn't back off the threads... Five stars for the part - Zero stars for the installation instructions.
This small cheap easy device is simple and quick to install works flawlessly and makes life a lot easier than hose barbs which seem like caveman tech now that I'm living that ~duotight life~. Grab this and never look back
Easy to make leak-proof connections but after using them once one of the teeth that holds tubing broke off on all of them. I used one for holding about 25 psi on fermentation and another one for pressure testing at 5 psi. I think the spec for these are rated higher than the pressure I used at. Didn't really stress them or yank of the tubes. Seems like manufacturing defect.
This and all Duotight fittings are good upgrades from standard swivel nut attachments along with Evabarrier tubing. No more forcing thick tubing onto the QD and clamping down. Takes the drudgery out of the routine disassembling and cleaning of draft lines.
