I was unable to use it because it did not come with a hose. I guess it comes separately?

Have been using these for around 5+ years. Only complaint is they crack at the curved top and the outside tube. I am on my 4th unit now.

Very good price and just a few pumps and it flows like a fountain easy to clean!

this siphon works better than the others I have tried I just wish the tip was detachable so I could clean it more thoroughly.

I got this after scaling up to 5 gal the smaller cane I had for 1 gal batches would just barely reach the bottom of a 5 gal bucket. This works beautifully transfers fast and is surprisingly easy to use. My only complaint is the one way valve doesn't come apart so its basically impossible to clean properly. Not an issue really for most transfers but I clogged it up trying to transfer an unfiltered ginger ale and it took some effort to get it cleaned out.

I use 3/8 silicone tubing throughout my system. This 1/2 in creates a snug airtight fit.

I would recommend this product works exactly as advertused

Does the job in less time than the smaller auto-siphon. If you're currently using the smaller one this one has to be primed a bit more forcefully just to get it started; but once it gets going it really flows.

I like the quick transfer that thew 1/2" siphon provides. Easy to clean too.

Moves much more liquid than its little brother

I ordered 2 as I have cracked at least 2 of these. Wish they were a little more durable because it is a great tool for racking small quantities of wine .

I have used an easy-siphon for years and find it to be an effective reliable and elegantly designed device. But be sure to order 4 to 6 feet of 7/16 hose if you want to appreciate anything other than its elegant design..

I purchased two of these; they seem more substantial than similar products I purchased elsewhere.

I had an older siphon that was 3/8" od this new siphon is 1/2" od. It is much faster than my old unit.

This works exactly like it says it will. I recommend it to those who are tired of spilling by pouring.

Had to replace the one we had before because it was broken. This one worked well for our needs.

After a few uses the one-way valve which allows for the pumping action became stuck open. I tried to fix it but it just broke again. I switched to the 3/8" version and have not had any problems after many months of use.

I have worn out one (I'm not always easy on my stuff) and immediately purchased another. Wouldn't be without it!

Not sure what's with the few low scores but I've never had an issue. It works great for me every time.

Had been using 3/8 siphon because it came with original brew kit and would just replace the tubing periodically. The original broke and saw this 1/2 siphon at the Riverside showroom the sales associate recommended it and just like that transferring is taking half the time!!

This does everything I would want it to and the speed of the 1/2" is appreciated while keg filling.

It works fine but I think its more work to prep and clean than just using the Sterile Siphon Starter product. Is nice if you don't have a CO2 tank handy to start the siphon flow.

Before purchasing this consider what tubing you have on-hand. While this siphon works great most of my tubing was better-suited for the 3/8" option that MoreBeer also sells: https://www.morebeer.com/products/easy-siphon-38-inch.html I had no 1/2" ID tubing and needed to go purchase some. The 1/2" ID can be quite stiff and when getting a length suitable for siphoning can be cumbersome. So... That said the cap at the end of siphon is a necessary and welcome component. Make sure you don't lose it! While the sipon will work without it it helps reduce the amount of trub sucked in and works especially well when using a fermenter with a convex bottom.

This works but you have to be patient. Sometimes it takes a couple of pumps. Make sure the container you're siphoning into is lower. My biggest issue is that it just fits a carboy mouth so that you can't tilt the siphon to see it at the bottom of the carboy through the beer.

I bought this because the 3/8" auto siphon takes way too long. This 1/2" drains in about half the time. However it also leaves behind way too much wort. I'm taking a good inch or more. With the 3/8" I have I can just about sip all the wort off the trub. Not sure if it's because the 1/2" is thicker and you can't angle it to the corner or because the red anti-sediment tip is too tall. Either way I feel I'm sacrificing too much wort and must to justify the time saved.

I cant say anything bad about this works great but be cautious of kids thinking its a toy sword only reason why I had to get another lol. Recommend to any brewer.

Used to suck the hose to get siphon started love this product. Be careful to not disturb sediment in the bottom of your carboy when pumping though.

I really like these siphons. Very easy to use and works as designed.
