        Highly recommend this!

This is a major upgrade from a typical picnic tap.

Worked exactly as I had hoped.

I bought two of these to use with the mini CO2 regulator kit on beers I brewed for an annual pig roast. This setup was absolutely perfect. Both kegs were kicked during the event and there was plenty of CO2 left in the canisters. I had to keep the CO2 pressure low so the beers could pour perfectly. Every 30-45 mins I had to adjust to keep the flow. All in all the whole setup worked great. I was quite satisfied.

Product is chrome (or some other metal) plated. It sure would be nice to offer one that was bare stainless steel.

        Better than a picnic tap

I use this with a mini regulator and 74 g cartridge. Pours a lot better than a picnic tap and easier for noobs to get a decent pour. Would be ideal if you could buy just the connector and use you own ball lock and tap.

        Better Than a Picnic Tap

I bought this item to use on kegs that serve English Mild's Bitters etc. under a small amount of CO2 pressure. I have no issues with foaming when dispensing beer at 5-8psi at 50F. No beverage tubing means no stale beer lines and less waste. 4 stars because as well as this thing works the tap feels cheap in the hand. I wish we had the option to upgrade the tap during checkout.

        Handy

Very handy for beer meetings or any place you take your keg. I actually prefer it over tubing and picnic tap.

        Great for my corni

It's perfect for a standar faucet. Can't get it workig with my Perlic's. But it's a great deal not messing with tubes on the go.

        Very convenient!

This is a great product. I took a keg to a party and used 1 CO2 cartridge to serve the whole keg. No need for messy beer line or heavy CO2 bottles. Buy the faucet and the small CO2 injector!

        Works Pretty Well

I've used this at several neighborhood gatherings and the faucet works pretty well but I end up doing most of the pouring as others have some difficulty finding the sweet spot.

        Great for my portable kegerator!

I built a portable kegerator out of an ice chest. I use this as the tap and a paintball CO2 tank. My only complaint is that the faucet drips a few drops of beer after every pour.

Hi is this compatible with the tapcooler counter pressure bottle filler?

        Anonymous

Are there any flow control taps that will work with this?

        MoreWine

I couldn't find one. If serving at a party you can turn the pressure down open the release valve to vent it down to your new set point and it should pour okay. Just turn the pressure back up the next day or else it'll get less carbonated.

I’m building a keezer for seltzer water. I’m not building a collar so no place to install a typical faucet. Can I just keep this on my corny the whole time and dispense this way straight from inside my keezer with the co2 at 30 psi or will it come out too fast?

        MoreWine

I use this for seltzer at 25psi and there is no foaming you will be fine.

        MoreWine

Yes and loads of foam. I use this either on <10 psi kegs or Seltzer. I suppose if you have a sour beer w/o head retention it could work.

        MoreWine

30 psi seems high but this will work. I have these faucets attached to corny kegs in a fridge.

        MoreWine

Yes. I do that a lot only with beer.

        MoreWine

I use mine straight off the corny when I travel to family get togethers I run the corny with a paintball C02 bottle but normally not over 10 psi.

        MoreWine

        It will work.

        MoreWine

This will come out very fast and cause a lot of foam. It is better to attach a long tube (6 to 8 feet) between the keg connection and the faucet. You can use the plastic hand held tap or one of the Pluto Beer Guns while keeping the tubing coiled and tied to the top of the keg.

        MoreWine

That is how I serve beer. However after your water is carbonated you want to reduce the serving pressure down to 5psi or so. Also depending on the height of the keg you may need the shorter black tap handles.

        MoreWine

        Way too fast.

Will this fit on the ball lock fittings on the Torpedo Kegs? I bought something similar from Amazon and there seems to be a slight difference in the connection. Before I jump on this one I wanted to make sure it will connect correctly.

        MoreWine

Raymond - Our Torpedo kegs carry standard ball lock fittings. This should work fine.

I recently bought some ball lock kegs. I previously owned pin lock kegs for which I had bought a number of faucets identical to the above faucets except that they were for pin lock kegs. Is it possible to buy uniquely the ball lock component of the above faucets so that I can use the faucets that I already have? Thank you in advance for your attention to this inquiry.

        MoreWine

Yes if you already have the 1/4" flare faucet shank (KEG900) then all you need is a flared ball lock disconnect (KEG720).

        MoreWine

Im not sure the ball lock component will be compatible with a pin lock faucet.

        MoreWine

Just need to purchase a ball lock for beer out with threads. Instead of barbs. ( out and in are different sizes) . Just screw new threaded ball lock onto faucet
