Flaked barley that seems pretty fresh smells great and added good head retention to my beer.

I use flaked barley in most all of my recipes. If I do not I use carapils for the mouth feel. I think this is a great barley to have around the brewhouse.

I normally add flaked barley when I brew. I enjoy the body it adds to my beers and the head retention that it adds.

I wish I could use more sometimes. Yes it will cloud a beer and yes it does not provide any fermentables but I love what it does for body and flavor.
