I love these! There are so many possibilities but the one I love the most is to use the 2" on the heater port on my Brewbuilt X3. I have a heating pad so don't use the port. This allows me to watch the fermentation activity without the need for an in-line sight glass.

I have owned every version of the Fermzilla and was overjoyed when the tri-clamp version was released. However the plastic butterfly valve is down right awful. Every batch has weird gross growth occurring inside around the offset lid and valve from all the keg line required to disassemble for cleaning. This elbow is almost the answer and why an elbow? I recover very little yeast with this which something I've accepted and dumping trub is not a smooth process either. This would be better suited as a short straight adapter to go from 3" to 1.5". I rarely use my Fermzillas anymore as I've moved onto SS conical fermenters but I do on occasion have a couple lagers going and use these for a quick batch of my favorite ale.

this ball seems to be for larger systems and would need to be mounted on an extension rod inside the tank. no way to mount this to the BrewBuilt X1 that I can see. It has a nice finish on it and smooth operation. I'm sure it would work great for a commercial size brewer with the right extension arm etc.

I have a 13 GPM sump pump that was unable to get a spray going the cleaner just kind of dribbled out of the ball. I'm going to buy a stronger pump in hopes that this works.

Does a great job in my 14 Gallon Uni X1 Pro with a Riptide. Don't need to run pump full speed.

I use the 1.5" version not as a hop dropper... But as a sight glass on the bottom of my conical. Only gripe in this use is that it would be better as a straight sight glass without the CO2 port. Let's see some polycarbonate sight glasses made!

I bought these because I didn't need enough of them stop warrant a bulk order and this was the best retail price per piece I could find.

It does it's job by closing off the end of my 2" Tri-Clamp port. What more can be said. It's is of good quality and was well protected from scratches during shipping. When the time comes I'll order another.

This really works great love that it isn't glass and very durable too. I can fit 7oz of pellets in it and purge them quickly.

Minimize DO and waste!!! Really trying to figure out if I use this on the 7-BBL in addition to the 1BBL. Breaks down easy for cleaning and easy re-assembly!!

Added to my kettle. Works like a charm.

Works great. Have a bayou pot I use as a kettle and was the first piece of gear I bought. Have been buying tri-clamp components since and this allowed me to kick the can down the road on upgrading the kettle.

Perfect fit. Seems to be well made and should last for years.

Great sample port based off perlick design but without perlick price. Works as it should haven't had any problems.

Solid construction fair price

I paired this with my MK II PMP500 pump. This pump is NOT powerful enough for this Spray Ball. It's my own fault no doubt but I do think things could be clearer: the spray ball references 29 PSI but the pump only has flow rate (Gal or L per min). My four star rating doesn't reflect this mistake - but rather the rattling of metal shards trapped between the two pieces. And one of the slits is not cut through entirely.

I used this to fabricate a top for my converted-keg fermenter. I attached a 1/2 inch NPT fitting which accepts a Blichmann style quick connect which I use for a blow off hose. The hole was the perfect size.

Nice valves for the price.

Does a great job we use it on 15 BBL fermenters that have been carbonated and pressured to 12+ PSI and it works great for pulling samples. Minimal foam even at 15 PSI. Cheers!

No more threads to try and clean. This will make cleaning easier.

I like these for quick assembly. I like the clear so I can see any grime the black ones are harder to tell when to clean or discard.
