Keep it safe and it works great. Holds about 2-3 oz

This was a gift for my husband. He used it to test the wine he is making and said he thought it would intake more wine than it did. He was a bit disappointed.

This thief is good for getting into tight spaces. My only issue is after breaking one of these I bought two more. Unfortunately they are not exactly the same size as my original and do no not fit between some of my stacked barrels the way my first did.

Yes I would recommend this product. It is far superior to the plastic versions. It rarely drips and is slim enough to fit in narrow necked carboys. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. It is a pricey item and in a busy working environment we need to be extra cautious so it doesn't get broken.

Enjoy using this wine thief. You can easily see how much wine you're drawing up and works better than the cheaper plastic models. Significantly less expensive than steel wine thieves. Looks cool when you're drawing wine up for friends. Easily sanitizable with StarSan (I keep a bucket in the winery for such things). The inside stains a little over time after drawing up red wine frequently even with rigorous rinsing after use but I don't think this is a sanitation problem. Happy with this purchase.

The wine thief leaks just a bit when holding wine but otherwise draws wine well.

Wish that Morewine would offer a Stainless Steel thief. We go through a lot of these. Look good but in a winery these are always breaking.
