Its good and oversized for the average hydrometer. Plenty of room. I don't mind the extra space it takes and it works fine.

Not bulky lite and easy to handle. My only negative is that it requires two dips into a barrel to pull a proper tasting amount of wine. Reason for four and not five stars.

Good size graduated and has a spout in case you want to pour a small sample. But DOES NOT SIT LEVEL! This makes it incredibly hard to get an accurate reading. I ordered two of them and neither is level.

The cylinder is clear and a good height for an SG bulb. The red base is threaded on so it is stable and secure. A drawback however is the paper inventory label which is placed right at the top where you need to see thru the tube to read your SG bulb. The sticker has to be removed with goo-gone or some other chemical I’d rather not use on my winemaking equipment. Nice design made faulty by poor choice of labeling.

I like that is plastic. We get a lot more uses out of them.

Seems to be a better kind of plastic. I definitely wouldn't buy a glass test jar as this one gets knocked around a bit. I use it at least twice a week for all the different fermentations I have going.

This is a nice high-quality wine thief that is easy to use feels good in-hand and is quite lovely to look at.

Good quality stir bar but the ones I received did not have the rib pictured. The rib helps the stir bar from getting stuck to the bottom of the flask.

Really too large. I was also surprised that the tube separates from the base - happened at a very inopportune time.

One inch stir bars work well with the micro stir plate but this one can not be used on it at anything other than the slowest speeds.

For small batch it is the perfect size for me. Don't have to put too much fluid just enough space in the thing to try and get the hydro from sticking to the sides.

Needed a tall cylinder for my hydometer. It could be narrower to reduce the volume. This one takes 10oz to fill.

It is as described: Very well made feels great in the hand functions flawlessly. I'm a bit worried about breaking it every time I use it or store it wonder whether in the future it could come with a protective sleeve or something. But it's a great product.
