        What is the shelf life of the indicator solution?

        Hi Lyle - according to the manufacturer the SO2 Indicator has a recommended shelf life of 1 year after opening.

        The bottle does not have an expiration date only instructions for storage. After investigating the literature as to how this stuff is made the indicator dyes are dissolved in alcohol which if stored in cool dark conditions and a well sealed bottle should keep for at least several years. I’ve observed no loss of quality over a two year period.
