        So far fittings have worked out great.

        Very pleased with them.

        These qd's have made my simple homebrew set up a lot more convenient and simpler. Have male connectors on kettles and buckets allows me to connect various hoses and contraptions to each. Would recommend for simple brew set ups.

        No they won't. You can see straight through both male and female parts. They're not like typical pneumatic QDs where female QD will stop flow. They work fine but you need them to be downstream of a valve.
