This was a good starter kit if you’ve never made root beer. If you’re looking to explore other root beer styles this kit might not be for you. However the process was straight forward and setup plus directions were easy. Big in my book especially if you’re working with kids. My kids and I weren’t big fans of the flavors though. The honey might have been too much? Three stars from me.

I made this a couple times in the keg and the first time it was super sweet so the next time I made it I didn't add as much honey and it was great in the rootbeer floats.

Not much to this; Honey sugar and instructions. I can get the ingredients for less overall but the convenience and having the how-to is nice.

Convenient quantities and clear instructions. But...it was sweet. Too sweet. Just a little too much sugar. I love soda pop. Even though its not the healthiest drinks. I'd like to make soda that isn't that sweet.
