They made it too easy of use for trials of distillates of your fermented or un-fermented product. I’d consider buying another for double batches to speed things up. The only draw back is 4L max but not a deal breaker. Also low wattage use measured mine at 334w ish which is why a normal water distiller is not as efficient with other dense liquids then water. Those run at twice the power or more. Takes about 1h 25m for liquid to drip out using 4L. Shorter times with less than that.

Small batch (4 L) still perfect for experimenting with different recipes. This is a fun still that allows the manipulation of smaller quantities. It also allows me to save my tails to be reruns. Simple to use with "on'" and "off" as the only adjustment. Easy to clean and maintain and very covert. When left out it does not look like a still. Can be used to improve the taste of cheaper liquors THANKS!

Got this mainly to take care of all the previously collected heads and tails of other runs on a bigger still. This is the easiest to use still I have ever run across. Put in a gallon of liquid put the lid on plug it up and wait for about an hour. That's it. Your output is dependent upon the ABV of your input. In my case I ran off 800 ml of product at 150 proof. I am very pleased with the performance of this still.

Got it for my husband as a Christmas gift he loves it and is having so much fun using it!!

I bought this for making hydrosols and I've run a few batches through so far (balsam fir needles and water). The hydrosol comes through nicely but the machine itself is a bit slow (but works at about the same pace as distilling water that is outlined in the manual). Can't wait to try some other fresh herbs this summer--they make nice skin and linen sprays!

Ordered this to make distilled water and play around with essential oil extraction. Works very well easy to use instructions are easy to follow!

Worked great right out of the box.
