Straight-A was developed as an environmentally sound product to remove tough soils yet protect soft metal finishes. Straight-A incorporates active oxygen for de-staining and protein disruption in addition to alkaline salts and chelating agents to break down and disperse soils. In this way Straight-A helps to quickly and easily rinse soils away while minimizing residue. Furthermore, the oxygen content provides an additional benefit by lowering the oxygen demand of the wastewater. Straight-A’s components will readily biodegrade or revert to naturally occurring minerals over a short period of time and the product itself is non-hazardous and non-corrosive. Because Straight-A is essentially non-foaming when used at the recommended use concentration, it may be used in clean-in-place (CIP) systems as well as in the soak tank. Straight-A may be used on essentially all surfaces, being safe for brass, copper, aluminum, and stainless, as well as polycarbonate and vinyl.
