I've used both unmalted wheat and torrified wheat and the difference is quite negligible. Awesome head retention. Fantastic wheat flavor. Love this stuff.

Used this in a Saison and got the greatest creamy white foam with lacing

I use 1#-5# in all my IPAs (depending on batch size). Add a nice flavor profile and helps with head retention.

This is a good product and easier to use than one might expect. This stuff is pre-gelatized but it is NOT malted. Being pre-gelatinized means that you do not need a cereal mash but you will need to mash this stuff with base malt since it is unmalted and has no enzymes of its own.

I've used flaked wheat wheat malt and raw wheat but torrified is by far my favorite. It adds a wheat component but also a toasty biscuit flavor too. I be sure to add rice hulls when I use more than 10% in my grist.

No stuck mash here and a great toasty addition in a Saison. Recommended!
