Hop Bong Sight Glass - 1.5 in. T.C.
The Hop Bong is a versatile pressurizable tri-clamp accessory, capable of not only dry hopping oxygen purged hops into fermenters, but also as an inline carbonation/oxygenation accessory. This particular sized tri-clamp Hop Bong was designed for the BrewBuilt X-Series Uni Conical fermenters for their 1.5" T.C. lid port. The side port features PCO1881 male threads so you have the option to add a Ball Lock Cap. When used as a dry hopping device on top of your fermenter, this will allow you to purge your additions of oxygen by flushing them with CO2. The Cannular Fully Auto Single Lane Packaging Line will suit a small to medium sized brewery doing batches from 10bbl and up to 40bbl. Compact Size The compact footprint means this canning line is almost the size of a standard pallet so it can be stowed into pallet racking or wheeled out of the way easily. Hardened Chuck The chucks on this machine are made from Cr12MoV which is then coated with Titanium. This grade has superior hardness so it can last an extremely long time without needing to re-tune the machine or change the chuck. The hardness is 58-62 dH. If you are particularly concerned about corrosion of the chuck, KegLand can also custom make stainless steel chucks on request. For stainless steel chucks they can use the Quench Polish Quench process to harden the stainless steel. It should be noted that the stainless chuck is more expensive and is less hard than the Cr12MoV alloy and as a result we do not normally recommend this alternative but it can be manufactured if requested. Setup and Washdown As the machine is fairly compact the wash down is extremely simple. The whole operating deck can be washed down with a hose and the chassis is mounted with an oversized drip tray to catch stray drips from the filling process. The deck can also be plumbed to drain so cleaning in place (CIP) can be implemented. All wet areas are made from nylon, Teflon and 304 stainless steel. Maintenance Made with European pneumatics, electronic controllers, flow sensors and industrial grade PLC you can be confident that all components are built to last the distance and designed to handle millions of cans before requiring an overhaul. We recommend that tolerances are checked on the rolls and chuck every 100,000 cans and lubricate some of the pneumatics. Fortunately, all spare parts are supplied by KegLand so you know you're not going to get the shaft on replacement parts in the unlikely instance that you need them. No major overhauls will be required until well over 1 million cans have gone through this machine and even when that time comes the maintenance procedures are relatively straight forward. Significant CPM for the Footprint This canning line is able to package 15 cans per minute making this the highest output machine ever manufactured within this small footprint. Low Labor Cost As this machine is relatively simple to run, one operator can load cans and lids into the respective hoppers and also package cans from the output of the machine. Larger more complicated machines often require several operators to run, making this labor efficient for such a small machine size. Ripe honeydew, papaya and tropical melange, white peach and fleshy pear. Vista hops are the most recent release from the USDA public breeding program. The public hop breeding program is unique in that it exists to broadly benefit the entire hop and brewing industries, whereas private programs look more at explicit private financial gain. The USDA public breeding program bred the genetic hop base on which American craft beer was built: Cascade, Centennial, Cluster. And continues to innovate to adapt towards new DDH hazy, juicy IPA brewer and consumer preferences with releases like Cashmere, Triumph, and now Vista. Rhizomes should be planted immediately for best results. If your area is still experiencing frost then you can plant them in a planter indoors until it is safe to transplant outside. The first years crop will generally be smaller than subsequent years. Since these are live plants, we cannot guarantee they will grow, so we recommend buying two of each type to help ensure their success. Replacement PET Tank for 60L All Rounder FermZilla. Normal wear and tear may lead to stress marks or other potential points of failure when the tank is used under pressure. We recommend visually inspecting the unit for signs of wear every 6-12 months, and conducting a hydro test every 2 years. The hydro test process is simple: Fill the tank to the brim with water Replace the Red PRV with a Green PRV rated to 4.5 BAR or higher Pressurize the tank to 4 BAR (58 psi) Check for leaks, then replace the Red PRV when finished If leaks or potential points of failure are found, replace the tank before you continue using pressure with your FermZilla. In general, we do not recommend leaving products like PBW or StarSan soaking in the tank for more than an hour. Extended soaks have the potential to degrade the PET material and shorten the lifespan of the tank. KegLand Part Number: KL15226 NOTE: FermZilla tanks are marked with a manufacturer’s “expiry date”. This does not indicate that the tank is bad after this date; it simply indicates that a hydro test may be in order. 2 years after production and every 2 years after first use, it is recommended that the tank be hydro tested to ensure the tank is holding pressure. The Green corny keg-style PRV is rated to 4.5 BAR (65 psi). It can be swapped out with PRVs with a lower or higher pressure rating if desired.
