This unit is also unique in that it feature 1/2" female threads on the inside. This allows you to thread in various other fittings that you can see below. Want to later make a mashtun... no problem just thread in our stainless screen. want to fully drain your boil kettle? No problem, just add our kettle maximizer! This allows for unlimited flexibility. Weldless kit includes a 1/2" Full Port ball valve and a 1/2" barb. All fittings are made from 304 type stainless steel for a lifetime of corrosion free use. Full installation directions included. Galaxy® | Pellet Hops
One the most popular hops in craft brewing today, Galaxy hops are adored for their huge oil content and pungent citrus and passionfruit flavors. This single hop variety accounts for the majority of hop yield coming from Australia, and is still one of the more difficult hops to get your hands on. It's so popular that we have to contract for it years in advance, so be sure to shore up your supply when it's in stock! This tantalizing dual purpose hop can be used up and down the hopping schedule and is an absolute stunner when used late in the boil, whirlpool, or dry hopping. Expect big aromas of peach with hints of pineapple and tropical fruit. Use liberally in all hop-forward styles, including IPAs, Pale Ales, Hazys, hoppy lagers, or any beer where you want to add a little tropical twist. CellarScience® SilaFine | Beer Fining Agent
SilaFine is an easy-to-use, vegan friendly fining agent that quickly creates crystal clear beer by removing yeast and haze-forming particles. SilaFine is a unique, negatively charged silica sol fining agent that binds with and positively charged haze active proteins and polyphenols as well as yeast cells. SilaFine does not target foam active head forming proteins, leaving beer foam in glass unaffected. Use: Add 10ml or 1 tbsp per 5 gallons of finished beer. Gently rouse the beer to fully disperse the clarifier. Most effective on beer that has been chilled below 39°F. If the beer has not cleared after 24 hours, a second dose can be added. SilaFine should be stored cool, but do not freeze. Whirlpool: SilaFine can also be used in the whirlpool at a rate of 0.5-1ml per gallon to achieve a quicker and more compact sedimentation in the kettle. Additional Notes: SilaFine is based on a special selection of commercial grade amorphous silicon dioxide, also known as silica sol, at a concentration of 30%. Silica sol is known by a few names in brewing including colloidal silica, acidified silicates, silicon dioxide, and silicic acid. Unlike some other silica sols, SilaFine is not treated with aluminum oxide. SilaFine is a pure mineral and complies with Reinheitsgebot German beer purity law. Do not freeze. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. The recommended shelf life is 12 months from the date the package is opened. Allergen Free GMO Free

Cane Sugar

Aeration System
Due to high demand, this item is currently out of stock. Be the first to receive your items by placing a pre-order today. We will automatically ship this to you when we receive more inventory. Instead of diffusing pure oxygen into your wort this system uses filtered air. The included air-pump pushes air through an inline sanitary filter which is then dispersed into the wort through our two micron threaded stainless steel diffusion stone. The advantage of an aeration system is that you never have to buy replacement oxygen tanks. The down side is that aeration takes longer than oxygenation. Because the atmosphere is only about 20% oxygen, the diffusion stone must be left running in the wort for approximately 30–120 minutes (however even 5 minutes of aeration is better than shaking the carboy.) There is no concern of contamination during this period, however you do have to monitor the fermenter periodically for possible over foaming. While you are brewing, this system can also be used to pre-fill fermenters with sanitary air. Replacement filters, FIL90, which need replacement every few years, are available for $4.99. About the inline filters: There are two sides to the filter - an "in" and an "out". The direction you use doesn't matter, however, you want to take note of which way you first push air through it and always keep it that way. There is an arrow on the edge of the filter housing that we use to keep the air flow going one direction when using it. The filter should never get wet, so don't try and sanitize it by dunking it in sanitizer. If you want to clean the outside of it, use Alpet D2 (CL60). To store the filter, use a little tinfoil on the "Out" of the filter and store in a zip-lock bag. The stone is attached to semirigid polyethylene tubing temp rated from -40°F to 140°F.

CellarScience® CALI Dry Yeast | American Ale | Premium Beer Yeast
The classic American ale strain. Famous for its clean, neutral flavor and its ability to be used in any style. Emphasizes malt and hops. Attenuates well. CALI is eligible for direct pitch straight into your wort. Every batch is PCR tested to ensure quality. Dosage: One sachet is enough to treat a 5–6 gallon batch. When calculating for larger batches, use at a rate of 2–3 grams per gallon of wort. We recommend rounding up by one full sachet rather than measuring out the yeast exactly. Direct Pitch or Rehydrate: CALI yeast is designed to be sprinkled directly onto the surface of your wort with no oxygenation required in the initial fermentation. Our aerobic growth process makes this possible by creating dry yeast with high viability and high sterol levels. CALI yeast is pre-loaded with essential nutrients to ensure a successful, complete fermentation. While not required, some brewers prefer to rehydrate yeast. To hydrate yeast, first, sanitize the yeast brick and scissors. Use 10 grams of sterilized tap water between 85-95°F (29-35°C) mixed with 0.25 grams of FermStart per gram of yeast. Sprinkle yeast on the water. Allow the slurry to stand undisturbed for 20 minutes, then swirl. Use small amounts of wort to adjust to within 10°F (6°C) of wort temperature before pitching. Ferment between 59-72°F (15-22°C). Optimum Fermentation Temp: 59-72°F Flocculation: Medium Alcohol Tolerance: 10-11% ABV (WY1056 11%) Attenuation: 75-84% Similar Strains: WLP001, WY1056, US-05 Gluten-free

Irish Moss Flakes
Irish moss is a specific type of algae that is used as a thickener in a variety of products. In beer making, Irish moss is added during the last 15 minutes of the boil, to help coagulate and settle out proteins. It improves formation and compaction of the hot-break, the gelatinous mass that forms after boiling and during cooling. Some users recommend prior rehydration in water, or a full hour boil with Irish moss, but common usage is 15 minutes in the boil. Usage: 1 tsp. per 5 gallons Chemical name: Chondrus crispus
