  • Corks -1 3/4 Grade 3 - PLACEHOLDER

    Wine Corks - 1 3/4 in. Grade 3

    3 reviews

A standard length and diameter single punch cork in a high quality grading at a reasonable price. Corks are typically graded on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the best score, based on the degree of porousness that the actual punch of cork exhibits. Cork trees that show a higher population of worms or fungi tend to yield cork crops which are more porous. The Grade 3 corks show less than average porousness and are on par with the quality of cork used in many commercial facilities. Grade 1 & 2 corks are almost completely solid and sell at very high prices. These corks are harvested and punched in Portugal, like the majority of the rest of the corks available today. They are processed, sorted, prepped and packaged here in Northern California.

  • Corks - 1 3/4 in Agglomerated 1+1 - PLACEHOLDER

    Wine Corks - 1 3/4 in Agglomerated 1+1

    1 review

This is a high quality agglomerated cork with solid end caps. An agglomerated cork is a cork that is composed of many small pieces that are pressed and adhered together. As the quality of cork has declined many wineries have begun to use alternative corks, such as synthetics or these agglomerated corks to insure a good seal in their wine. These corks offer the assurance of a good seal while at the same time allowing the breathing properties that solid corks offer. Agglomerated corks work best with floor corkers as they are hard to put in with hand corkers (they do not compress as much.)

Wine Corks - 1 3/4 in. Acquamark Corks

The Acquamark cork line is a high quality colmated cork.  These corks have the ageable lifespan of Natural Cork, but are closer to the price of an agglomerated or overrun cork. Colmated corks are Natural Corks that were not quite flawless enough to make a grade, but are then filled in with agglomerated pieces, resulting in an ageable, but economical cork. Dimensions: 45mm x 24mm

    Wine Corks - Aglica

  • Sale -13% Enolmatic Wine Bottle Filler (1 Head) - PLACEHOLDER Enolmatic Wine Bottle Filler (1 Head) - PLACEHOLDER

    Enolmatic Wine Bottle Filler | 1 Spout | Vacuum Pump | 110V

    8 reviews

Vacuum pump wine bottle filler with 180 bottle per hour filing capacity Automatically starts siphon and shuts off when the bottle is filled Oxygen is evacuated from each bottle before filling Adjustable fill speed to match your preferred pace Fill wine bottles directly from your fermenter, storage tank, or barrel A great bottle filler for the small-scale winemaker. Through the use of a vacuum pump, the Enolmatic filler automatically starts a siphon and automatically shuts off when the bottle is filled to the perfect height. The vacuum also serves to evacuate most of the oxygen from your bottle. The fill rate is fast - allowing you to bottle up to 180 bottles per hour. The Enolmatic creates a vacuum that sucks the wine directly from your fermenter, storage tank, or barrel, which can be located up to 13 feet below the Enolmatic. No need to start a siphon or to have to pump or move your wine above your filling machine. Fill speed can be adjusted allowing you to bottle at your preferred pace. While the filler is in operation wine is not allowed back into the storage tank or barrel due to a one-way valve located in the fill head. The small amount of excess wine runs into a collection reservoir. The fill height can be adjusted and is designed to be used with any size or type of bottle. The Enolmatic has a continuous duty cycle, meaning it can run non-stop and is constructed entirely from food-grade materials. Simply run water through the system to clean out the lines. The reservoir for excess overfill can be rinsed out or ran through the dishwasher. 110V 60 Hz 60 W Includes: Filling Unit with Overflow Reservoir 5ft. of 1/2"ID Feeder Line Collapsible 1/2" racking cane for intake, helps leave the lees behind Detailed Instructions

We will automatically ship this item to you when we receive more in mid October. #8 agglomerated corks are slightly smaller than the standard #9 corks. They are often used with hand corkers that cannot compress the standard #9's, or for bottles with smaller necks. Agglomerated corks are made from small cork pieces held together with a food grade binder. Corks are treated with a food grade wax and silicone coating before being packaged by the manufacturer. To use, corks may be dipped briefly in a sanitizer solution and then corked immediately. Do not soak or boil corks as this can remove the silicone coating, making them difficult to remove from the bottles.

  • Ferrari - Sanitizer Injector for Red Bottle Tree

Ferrari Bottle Tree | Sanitizer Injector

    59 reviews

The sanitizer injector makes it easy to squirt sanitizer into bottles, while allowing them to quickly drain back into the resevoir. Use with Star San, sulphite solution, or your favorite sanitizer. Simply fill the resevoir about half way with your solution, put a bottle on the nozzle, and pump about 2-3 times to squirt sanitizer into the bottle. Hold upside down for a few seconds to let the sanitizer drain, then move the bottle to a bottle tree or clean area for draining. Can be used as a stand alone table top unit, or will fit on the top of our 45 seat and 90 seat bottle trees. Install on top of the 45-seat or 90-seat Ferrari Rotating Bottle Tree (B510 or B517). The clear dish is the sanitizing solution reservoir. Hold the bottles upside down on white shaft and press down to inject iodophor. Takes only a few minutes to sanitize 2 cases of bottles. The injector also works perfectly on your countertop if you have the Ferrari Fixed Base model or anothe brand of bottle tree (B518).

  • Corks - Synthetic Supercork (100) 23x38mm

    Wine Corks - Synthetic Supercorks - 23x38 (100ct)

    5 reviews

A synthetic cork with the ability to last 4 years plus. Supercorks are manufactured in Italy by Enolandia. One of the very first companies to make a synthetic cork, they have a history of quality since the 1980's. This cork measures 23x38mm. Product Specifications: Construction: Manufactured from recyclable thermoplastic high-tech materials Chemical details: Polietilene, Food pigments, Food expanders. Lubrication: Silico-paraffinic solution. No solvents. Preservation: Corks should be kept away from any possible contact with liquids and odors. • Bottle Filler - Buon Vino Super Auto Bottle Filler - Buon Vino Super Auto

Bottle Filler - Buon Vino Super Auto

    14 reviews

The Buon Vino Super filler for winemaking is a gravity fed bottle filler that shuts off automatically when the proper fill height is reached in each bottle. Very easy to use and perfect for small quantities.  A great choice when you want something more sophisticated than the tube style bottle fillers, but don't need to upgrade to a more expensive electric wine bottle filler.  Usage: To use the filler, place the device on top of the bottle to be filled, insert the intake tube into your vessel containing the liquid, and the small overflow tube into an empty bottle. To begin the siphon, start by pressing down on the center plunger on the flow regulator to open the valve.  Suck on the end of the overflow tube until the liquid begins to flow into the bottle. When liquid is flowing into the bottle, put the overflow tube back into the empty bottle. When the liquid reaches the top of the bottle, the valve will shut the flow off automatically.  After the first bottle, check the level of the fill and adjust the level up or down if necessary by moving the rubber bottle seal up or down. Please note that the fill level can be affected by excessive foaming. After one bottle is filled, move the bottle filler to another empty bottle, push down on the plunger lever, and repeat. Comes with 6 ft. of tubing.

Italy produces more wine than any country in the world and Molinas is the largest Italian cork supplier with over 1 billion corks produced annually. Molinas Cork was started over 100 years ago by Pietro Molinas on the Italian island of Sardinia. Besides its beautiful beaches and designation as one of the world's five Blue Zones, Sardinia is known for its large, government protected Cork tree forests. Today, the 4th generation of the Molinas family sustainably harvests cork from these protected trees. Compared to most cork available in the market, the bark is allowed to mature an additional year. This leads to a less porous, higher quality cork, and has less impact on the forest. Throughout the entire process from tree to finished cork, quality control is strictly monitored. • Bottle Rinsing or Sparging Base Bottle Rinsing or Sparging Base

The Vintage Shop | 2-in-1 Bottle Washer | Bottle Rinsing or Gas Purging Base | 12 Seat | WineMaker Magazine "Must Have"

    21 reviews

If there is a wine making product that should get a design award for usable simplicity, this is it. Imagine a system that for under $100 allows you to rinse bottles one case at a time, temporarily store them while they drain upside down, and then flush them with inert gas prior to filling. You're not dreaming... please read on! The base portion of the system connects to a water supply for rinsing or to your inert gas system for purging/flushing. In our ideal plan you have two bases. One is used for rinsing, the other, sitting right next to it, is used for purging. Comes with a female garden hose fitting attached to a plastic 1/2" barb fitting on the unit. The rinsing base might be placed in a tub that is recirculating with sanitizing solution (such as: CL27) or might just drain to the ground if you are working outside. *Note you will need to buy as many racks (CE971) as needed. Each rack holds 12 bottles. 12.25" L x 10.75" W x 3" H Max Temp: 167° F (75° C)

    $38.99

At some point during the ageing process, whenever you like the way the wine tastes, it will be time to bottle. To bottle your wine, you will need wine corks, wine bottles, and a wine bottle corker. Getting the wine into the bottle can be as simple as: 1) creating a syphon using a racking cane, some tubing and a bottling wand, 2) using a gravity bottle filler (fed by a pump or gravity), or 3) using a vacuum pump to gently draw the wine into the bottles, as is the case with our Enolmatic wine bottle filler.

Once the wine is bottled, our wine bottle labeling machines and bottle dressing options will help you put the final touches on your masterpiece.

Complete information on bottling your wine can be found in our Red Winemaking and White Winemaking Manuals!
