  • Enartis - Maxigum Plus - PLACEHOLDER

Enartis Maxigum Plus | Increase Color Stability and Soften Tannins | Gum Arabic and Mannoproteins for Bottling

Blend of Acacia verek gum arabic and yeast mannoproteins Superior color and tartrate stabilization Improves mouthfeel and softens astringency Maxigum Plus is a liquid stabilizing agent designed for the final stages of winemaking. It combines high molecular weight gum arabic with yeast mannoproteins to provide a dual-action benefit: ensuring long-term color and tartrate stability while significantly enhancing the wine's sensory profile. By forming a protective colloid, Maxigum Plus prevents the precipitation of coloring matter and potassium bitartrate. Simultaneously, it increases the perception of body and roundness, coating aggressive tannins to reduce bitterness and astringency. This makes it an essential finishing tool for red and rosé wines where balance and shelf-stability are key. Key Benefits: Prevents color precipitation in red and rosé wines Inhibits potassium bitartrate crystal formation Increases volume and roundness on the palate Reduces the perception of harsh or dry tannins High filterability—will not clog 0.45-micron membranes Application and Use: Maxigum Plus should be added to wine that is clear and ready for bottling. Due to its unique manufacturing process, it is highly filterable and can be added before or after the final microfiltration stage. Ensure the product is thoroughly homogenized into the wine during addition. Dosage Rate: 50 – 100 mL/hL. Note: 20 kg of Maxigum Plus is approximately 4.8 gal / 18.2L in volume.

  • MB - Sanitary Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump - 150 GPM - 3 in. T.C.

    MB® Sanitary Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump | 150 GPM | 3" T.C.

MB 3" – Heavy Must Specialist: The industry standard for fermented must, featuring a generous 6.4 mm particle pass that allows seeds, stems, and skins to move freely without the risk of clogging or labor-intensive downtime. Resilient Self-Priming Design: Built to run dry without damage, these pumps are perfect for variable flows and won't fail if your hopper or tank runs empty during a transfer. High-Vacuum Suction Power: Specifically designed to "pull" thick, viscous materials and "dry" solids, providing the necessary lift to move heavy must without the pump stalling or air-locking. Gentle, Low-Shear Transfer: Minimizes vibration and "slugging" through a pneumatic operation that protects the integrity of your juice or wine while extending the lifespan of the internal diaphragms. MB Series Sanitary Diaphragm Pumps Sleek Design. Industrial Strength. Our MB Series Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) pumps combine a high-polish, sanitary aesthetic with rugged reliability. Featuring a unique stainless steel wrap-around cover that protects the air valve mechanism, these pumps offer a clean, streamlined look that fits perfectly in any modern production facility. Constructed from 304 Stainless Steel with high-performance Super Teflon and Polyether diaphragms, these pumps are engineered for longevity and ease of cleaning. Whether you are moving delicate liquids or solids-laden must, the MB Series delivers consistent, shear-sensitive flow. Optional Pulsation Dampener System: Upgrade your pump with our optional Air-Charged Dampener. Diaphragm pumps naturally create a "pulsing" flow; our dampener smooths this out into a steady stream, which is essential for filtration processes. By removing the surge, you protect your filter media from pressure spikes, ensuring a cleaner finish and longer filter life. Specialized Winery Applications Moving Must & Solids: For moving fermented must or pomace, the MB 3" is the gold standard due to its 6.4mm solids handling and high volume. While the MB 2" can work for musts where more liquid is present (up to 4.8mm particles) such as higher liquid content crushed grapes as well as doing pump-overs mid ferment. If you're buying the pump with the intent to use it for must, the 3" model significantly reduces the risk of clogging and provides the necessary torque to move heavy skins and seeds without stalling. The MB 1.5" is recommended for wine, juice, or light lees only. Choosing Between 2-inch and 3-inch Choosing the right pump size for your winery—specifically between a 2-inch and a 3-inch unit—usually comes down to how much solids you’re moving and how much you value your sleep during harvest. The 2-Inch Unit: Precision for Liquids The 2-inch pump is your go-to for liquid-heavy transfers and boutique-scale operations. While it can handle crushed grapes, it requires a high liquid-to-solid ratio to stay happy. If your must is "dry" or contains whole berries, a 2-inch pump will often struggle, leading to "slugging"—a rhythmic vibration that wears down your diaphragms prematurely. It’s the perfect choice if 90% of your day involves moving wine or juice rather than thick skins. The 3-Inch Unit: The Must-Have Workhorse When it’s time to move fermented must to the press, the 3-inch model is the industry standard for a reason. It isn’t just about flow rate; it’s about clearance. With a 6.4 mm particle pass, it handles seeds, stems, and skins without breaking a sweat. Its larger diaphragm surface area creates a stronger vacuum, allowing it to "pull" thick, viscous material that would cause a smaller pump to stall or air-lock. Which One Do You Need? Choose the 1.5-Inch if: Your operations are strictly focused on finished wine, juice, or light lees. With a maximum particle pass of 3.2 mm, this size is designed for high-efficiency liquid transfer where solids are minimal or non-existent. It is the most compact and economical choice for general cellar work that doesn’t involve heavy skins or stems. Choose the 2-inch if: You are a small-lot producer primarily moving juice and wine, or if your must is consistently well-crushed and juicy. Choose the 3-Inch if: You are moving heavy fermented reds to the press. It’s far less likely to clog, saving you hours of labor and preventing the dreaded "bridging" at the intake. Regardless of size, diaphragm pumps still need a little lubrication. Keep a "juice reserve" handy to splash into your hopper; it helps the skins slide through the system and keeps your harvest moving smoothly. Pro-Tip: If you are moving must that is particularly "dry," ensure your suction hose is as short and straight as possible. Every foot of hose and every bend adds friction that a diaphragm pump struggles to overcome when there isn't enough liquid to act as a lubricant.   Versatility Beyond the Vineyard While designed with the winery in mind, the MB Series is a workhorse across multiple industries. Their self-priming, seal-less design makes them ideal for: Food & Beverage: Transferring juices, oils, sauces, and dairy products. Cosmetics & Pharma: Handling lotions, creams, and high-purity fluids. Chemical Processing: Moving shear-sensitive or abrasive chemicals. General Industrial: Sump evacuation, drum emptying, and viscous fluid transfer. Note: All MB Series pumps are air-powered and require a standard air compressor for operation. Each unit features integrated one-way check valves to ensure consistent priming and prevent backflow.   Model # Inlet/Outlet (in) Max Flow (GPM) Air Supply (CFM) Solid Size (in) Max Temp (°F) PMP6600 1.5" TC 39.6 23.7 0.1" 248 PMP6601 2.0" TC 99.9 31.8 0.2' 248 PMP6602 3.0" TC 150.0 53.0-70.6 0.3" 248

  • Angel Yeast - BrewNutri-Z - 5 kg

    Angel Yeast | BrewNutri-Z Yeast Nutrient | 5 kg

Provides a concentrated source of bioavailable zinc to ensure healthy yeast growth and metabolic efficiency. Enhances the uptake of maltose and maltotriose, leading to more complete and faster fermentations. Promotes cleaner fermentation profiles by reducing the production of acetaldehyde, diacetyl, and sulfur compounds. Essential for high-gravity brewing and maintaining yeast vitality in serial repitching scenarios. Improves yeast flocculation and sedimentation, assisting in beer clarity and reducing filtration costs. Angel Yeast BrewNutri-Z is a specialized, high-zinc yeast nutrient designed to target the most common nutritional deficiency in beer wort. Even in all-malt worts, zinc levels often fall below the optimal threshold (0.3–0.5 mg/L) required for robust yeast performance. BrewNutri-Z provides an inactive yeast-based source of zinc (5.5–6.5% w/w) that acts as a critical cofactor for protein synthesis and enzymatic reactions during both growth and alcohol fermentation. By ensuring optimal zinc levels, brewers can significantly reduce fermentation lag times, improve attenuation in high-gravity environments, and protect yeast against the stresses of high alcohol and sugar concentrations. This results in a cleaner finish, better foam stability, and superior yeast condition for those looking to harvest and repitch their yeast over multiple generations. Usage Rate 0.005–0.01 g/L (0.5–1 g/hL), adjusted based on wort composition and fermentation stress level. Application Instructions Dissolve in sterilized water to ensure even distribution. Add the solution to the kettle 10–15 minutes prior to the end of the boil, or dose directly into the cooled wort in the fermentation vessel. Applications Beer • High-Gravity Beer • Serial Repitching • Adjunct-Heavy Worts • Nutrient-Deficient Worts • Improving Flocculation.

  • Milwaukee - MA911B/2 Industrial Grade Double Junction pH Electrode Milwaukee - MA911B/2 Industrial Grade Double Junction pH Electrode

Milwaukee MA911B/2 Industrial Grade Double Junction pH Electrode with Extended Cable

The MA911B/2 probe is lab grade, gel-filled pH probe for use with Milwaukee Monitors and Controllers. Top Design Features: Double Junction The double junction junction design reduces the risk of clogging. Spherical Glass Tip The spherical glass tip provide the largest possible surface area for faster results. Resin Body The Polypropylene Resin body is tough to withstand accidental knocks and also protects the glass sensing bulb. It's high chemical resistance properties makes it ideal for Industrial applications, in-line applications and strong acids and bases. Extended cable Offers a 6.6' cable for increased flexibility in measuring. Use and Care pH meters usually start performing poorly because of problems with the probe. The two parts of the pH probe that cause problems are the glass sensing bulb and the reference junction. Sensing bulb The glass bulb loses sensitivity with use and will eventually fail. This is true of all pH probes. Reference junction The reference junction is a small hole that allows the meter to compare the sample to a reference. The reading is generated based on the electrical difference between the sample and reference. If the junction hole gets clogged, the pH probe will no longer function. You can extend the life of your pH electrode in the following ways: Storage The pH probe needs to be kept hydrated. Long periods of dry storage will damage the sensitivity of the probe. Allowing the probe to dry out may also result in the junction hole getting clogged. Storing in pH probe storage solution or pH calibration buffers will help address both these issues. Do not store in tap water or DI water. This will damage the sensitivity of the probe. The best way to store the probe is with the probe's cap filled with storage solution or calibiration buffer and the cap tightened to prevent leakage. It is also recommended that to store the electrode upright to further reduce the potential for leakage. Cleaning Residue from the sample can impact the sensitivity of the sensing bulb and block the junction. This is especially true if the sample has a lot of organic material. We recommend regularly soaking your electrode in cleaning solution. Calibration The pH sensing bulbs become less sensitive over time so make sure that you are calibrating regularly to keep your PRO pH meter accurate. Also, calibrate after cleaning or a long period of storage.

Accuracy:±0.02 pH Temperature Compensation: AutomaticRange:0.00 - 12.00 pH Calibration:Automatic Care and Use  pH meters usually start performing poorly because of problems with the probe. The two parts of the pH probe that cause problems are the glass sensing bulb and the reference junction. Sensing bulb The glass bulb loses sensitivity with use and will eventually fail. This is true of all pH probes. Reference junction The reference junction the PTFE Sliding material that allows the meter to compare the sample to a reference. The reading is generated based on the electrical difference between the sample and reference. If the junction hole gets clogged, the pH electrode will no longer function. You can extend the life of your pH electrode in the following ways. Cleaning and Storage All pH sensors have a limited life and response time gets longer with age. Properly maintaining your pH pen tester will give you fast, accurate results for longer. So, be sure to order the Milwaukee pH Maintenance Kit code PH-Main at checkout time! This will be needed to help clean and condition the pH electrode before use! Storage The pH probe needs to be kept hydrated. Long periods of dry storage will damage the sensitivity of the probe. Allowing the probe to dry out may also result in the junction hole getting clogged. Store the pH probe in storage solution MA9015. Only use tap water short-term if MA9015 is not immediately available and NEVER store in distilled Water (DI) or Reverse Osmosis (RO) water. This will damage the sensitivity of the probe. The best way to store the probe is with the probe's cap filled with storage solution or calibration buffer and the cap tightened to prevent leakage. It is also recommended that to store the electrode upright to further reduce the potential for leakage. Cleaning Residue from the sample can impact the sensitivity of the sensing bulb and clog the junction. This is especially true if the sample has a lot of organic material. We recommend regularly soaking your electrode in cleaning solution MA9016 Cleaning Solution for about 20 minutes. Calibration The pH sensing bulbs become less sensitive over time so make sure that you are calibrating regularly to keep your PRO Plus pH meter accurate. Also, calibrate after cleaning or a long period of storage.

Storage To minimize clogging the pH probe needs to be kept hydrated. Cleaning an Maintenance Residue from the sample can impact the sensitivity of the sensing bulb and clog the junction. This is especially true if the sample has a lot of organic material. We recommend regularly soaking your electrode in cleaning solution MA9016 for about 20 minutes. Also: Inspect the electotrode for damage or scratches, if present replace the electrode. Inspect the cable.  The connection cable and insulation must be intact. Connectors should be clean and dry. Rinse off salt deposits with water or DI water. Calibration The pH sensing bulbs become less sensitive over time so make sure that you are calibrating regularly to keep your PRO Plus Bench pH Meter accurate. Also, calibrate after cleaning or a long period of storage.  For BEST value on calibration, cleaning and storage solutions order pH-START.  If you need to calibrate at 10.01 point order MA9010.
