Imperial Yeast | A24 Dry Hop Ale | Beer Yeast | Double Pitch | 200 Billion Cells

    Description

Dry Hop is a blend of A20 Citrus and A04 Barbarian. When this blend goes to work on your hoppy beer, the hop aroma blows up. The combination of these strains produces amazing aromas of citrus, peach, and apricot that will accentuate your IPA, pale ale, and any other hop-driven beer. This blend contains a strain that tests positive for the STA1 gene via PCR analysis and is therefore considered to be Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. Diastaticus. This yeast strain is not a genetically modified organism (GMO).

    Attenuation: 73-75%
    Flocculation: Medium
    Alcohol Tolerance: 10% ABV
    Optimum Fermentation Temp: 64-74°F

Please Note: For best results we Always recommend ordering an Ice Pack with your liquid yeast. Ice Packs can be found below in the "You might Also Need" section.

Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.

Customers praised this beer yeast as "the best" for NEIPAs and IPAs, consistently delivering exceptional results. Brewers highlighted strong fermentation, high attenuation (often 80%+), and "incredible" fruity, tropical aromas including peach, strawberry, and citrus esters without excessive dry hopping.

        NEIPA!

Absolute best NEIPA yeast I've used so far. So far I've been able to harvest 3 generations and it's still going strong. I use a 7 gallon SS Brew Bucket with about 6.5 gallons of wort going in and no blowoffs. (I do use a blow off tube just in case but I'm not 100% sure you need one. I always do one with my neipas.) This batch (3rd gen) I'm getting peach and strawberry esters. Not sure if it's the yeast or the hop combo I used but it's my favorite batch so far! LOVE Imperial yeasts!

        House IPA Yeast

I've used this yeast multiple times on a Millennium/Falconers Flight IPA and it pairs perfectly. Push this yeast above 70 degrees and it gives off some wonderful phenols. I've also easily gotten attenuation at 80% or higher the last three times it's a workhorse!

Great match for my DDH NE style double ipa

Love the esters and phenols in this one. Double ipa was no match for this yeast. Fermented at 67 degrees.

        Incredibly Aromatic

Split a 5 gallon batch of home grown Chinook wet hop pale ale half with Safale US-05 half with Imperial A24 Dry Hop. The 05 finished at 1.008 the A24 at 1.010. Aroma and flavor of the A24 are incredible! Intense juicy fruity hop-like aroma not found at all in the US-05 batch. To get a similar aroma I would have to massively dry hop the 05 batch with Amarillo Citra or some other fruity hop. Only downside (if there is one) is that the intense hop-like aromatics thrown off by the yeast somewhat mask/obscure the real hop aroma and flavor. So for cloning? Probably not your yeast. For creative brewing yeah this stuff is great!

        Fantastic!

Made a delicious pale ale with tons of citrus character that the yeast complemented. I will dbe finitely be brewing this beer again with this yeast strain.
