First use with beer after "testing" with water. Had set high temp cuttoff at 68F with +- set at 1F. Woke up to fermentation temp of 75F (no longer heating anyway) Air temp in room never got above 70F. Will have to see where it stabilizes today but a little dissapointed so far.

I like the idea of having heating and cooling in 1 unit. I still need to check the accuracy of this since it appears to be a different reading than my Thermapen Mk4

So far i really like this controller. Has a plug for a heater and a cooler. It’s winter in CO right now so we’re only using the heater plug. Works perfectly with our new bung thermowell and heater. We have a much better control of our fermentation temperature. Would purchase again. Very easy to use and set up with good instructions.

Using it for temp control in a small greenhouse. I wish it had independent target settings for heat and cooling. But my heater has it's own thermostat so that's the work around for heat. The control works well for kicking on the fan and heater.

This is a very easy controller to use and I really like that the numbers are larger and easy to read. Have been using for about a month and so far it works great. Would buy again for sure.

I had another brand that was more difficult to operate and failed prematurely. It was cheaper and I believed the adds. You always get what you pay for is so true.

Installed the InkBird on a 7 cu ft chest freezer and used an older Fermwrap (the better type with the USA-made Calorique element) on a Fermonster. Great temp control set it for +/- 1 degree heating/cooling taping the sensor to the side of the Fermonster. It's been controlling consistently within the control band. The ability to easily customize the setup is great. Highly recommend this product.

I've wired inkbird temp controls into all of my cooling chambers. They're factory looking sanitary and work all the time. I wanted something simple for a small chest freezer that I use for occasional lagering. I picked this because it doesn't beg for custom installation. It's dirt simple works great and was up and running within five minutes of opening the package.

Works great. Instructions are confusing and pathetic however. I recommend you Utube it to learn how to use it. Something definitely got lost in the translation from Chinese to English. Thanks to the guys who put stuff up on utube.

I make white wine from generally acidic grapes so I always need to cold stabilize. I try to use Mother Nature's cold but it's been difficult getting her to cooperate to my schedule. I now use this to maintain a chest freezer consistently cold enough to stabilize but not so cold as to freeze the wine. It's working perfectly!

I use my temp controllers on both a small fridge for fermentation a chest freezer for lagering. This unit is easy to use and setup and does an excellent job of controlling temperatures however I have had 2 of these units purchased at the same time. The first unit fell from 1 ft and hit the floor and never worked after that. I returned it to MoreBeer and they replaced it. The 2nd unit lasted a little over a year (warranty expired) and then started giving a piercing tone and an Er message. My previous Ranco lasted over 10 years and my Johnson Controls unit is over 15 years old. With the Inkbird units you get what you pay for.

I have an old refrigerator I wanted to use for white wine fermentation but I could not get the fridge thermostat to go warm enough. I was turning the fridge off and on to keep it at temperature. But this solved the problem for me. It kept the wine a the perfect temp throughout the fermentation process. The system is flexible and easy to use although the interface is not intuitively obvious and it took a few tries to get it programmed correctly. But once I understood the process it was easy.

Works great. Small issues with programming but overall great.
