I find it useful for allowing me to clean kegs carboys hands-free after rinsing them but the product needs to be improved to make is sturdy... the little tabs (very tiny) that hold on the main piece in the middle which you rest your glass carboys or kegs on broke after only a few uses. Even if you are really careful it will only be a matter of time before they break off. And crazy glue does nothing to repair it... a whole new approach needs to be designed for the next gen of the product.

Washing carboys has always been a real pain in the rear-end. This device works! Light simple and effective.

A must have product for the kegging homebrewer - I've love the time and effort it's saved me. However the little plastic tabs that hold the mounting bracket (for hold kegs and carboys are plastic and will eventually snap off rendering the unit nearly useless. Really needs a more robust design. Now I need to see how much a new tub and bracket cost and throw away my current broken ones (poor functional and sustainable design here).

Great device to clean all my different containers. I have made a few adapters to do 1 gallon bottles but does everything else I have tried. This is a replacement for my original because the small plastic tabs on the base that hold the centering ring in place broke off. I’d like to see a better connection device that is stronger. The plastic clips get fatigued from use. It did take several years for the first one to break but when the second one broke it made it useless. Also the pump had a broken connection that I was able to epoxy back into place to make it work.

Should have bought this a long time ago! It will pay for itself by only using a fraction of PBW as before

This makes a real deep clean to be done so easily. I have looked at this for years and finally pulled the trigger. I use so much less cleaner and sanitiser (I love it to give a good sanitiser rinse before storing too) than I used to. My first keg cleaned was one I had been soaking with a cleaner - and would have thought cleaned and would have used. I turned on the pump and was shocked to see the cleaning liquid got dirty quickly. I fully recommend this product.

Gone are the days of "bending over the sink while holding heavy carboys". Gone are the days of balancing the carboy over the faucet jet to rise out the carboy you just struggled to clean with a bottle brush. It does take some planning to have them cleaned and ready for use. Each carboy needs the 15-20 min sanitizing wash with the Mark II. So time is part of the equation. That's the easy part. The machine does it beautifully. However there is NO getting rid of the bottle bush and "old school" cleaning if using carboys after fermentation. The lees settle and they do tend to stick to the side walls and bottom of the carboy. I tried to use the Mark II to clean in that situation. It did only a fair job. Residue still needed to be brushed out but it was much easier to brush out as I believe the Mark II got most of it. I personally have to be sure the carboy has no residue from the lees before the sanitizing process. That said it is still much easier to accomplish cleaning and sanitizing multiple carboys. I would recommend it.

If you don’t have one of these you are working to hard and your stuff probably isn’t that clean. I should absolutely take 1 star away because there’s no power switch on the cord. Seriously just charge $2 more for the thing. I love the design: one side is shaped like the end of the tub so you can slide it right under the faucet to fill up.

I always asked "Why do you need a Mark II when OxiClean soak cleans my plastic conical overnight?" Plus - looks like cheap plastic design. Due to all the great reviews when this went on sale I picked one up. Actually this thing is pretty well built and I like the fact that it comes with the tub. It is a very optimized design and stores in a small space when done. I also purchased a CIP and it screws on top of the standpipe easily. I will be cleaning my equipment more often and thoroughly with the help of the Mark II. Can't soak my stainless in Oxi so this is the perfect accessory ro clean everything. I'm even going to use it to clean my draft lines. Others say this saves on cleaning agent.

This is by far the best carboy washer out there. Now to be fair i felt the nozzle on the end wasn't doing that great of a job so a put a CIP ball on it. I recommend this to anyone who knows the struggle of washing carboys.

I made a washing and botteling station using the botteling attachment..I gave 4 stars because the water jets are prone to misalignment not a big issue..just an inconvenience

Would be nice if all the keg connections came with it. Works great once you create the tubing piece to clean the lines.

A very handy tool to wash kegs and carboys....just set it and forget it come back in 20 minutes change water and rinse and come back in 20 minutes.

It works great for buckets and kettles works well for kegs but with my fermentasaurus it ends up splashing all over the place. It also doesn't get the some of the dried on material from my fermenter. Overall still easier than manual cleaning alone.

I purchased this for cleaning kegs as my fermenters are easy enough to clean manually. The only reason for the average review was it didn't have the option of ordering a T fitting to hook up my ball lock posts. It was just a pain running to the hardware store to find the correct size of fitting and tubing (I had the disconnects). Once I used these parts I was able to clean the kegs without pulling the posts and tubes which saves time. This washer will eventually pay for itself since I can now use 1 gallon PBW to clean kegs versus the 5 gallons I needed before. If the company that makes this would add these 2 parts I would rate it a 4+.

Awesome product works as promised. The bottle washer attachment is another story.

Very impressed! Used it to clean and sanitize some 5gl kegs and 8gl bucket fermenters. Worked like a charm. Nice to walk away while the whole thing gets cleaned. Of course the temp of the cleaner drops quickly but I don’t think that matters much. You could always add more hot water/detergent if you want. Haven’t figured a good way to get the bucket lids into the device but easy to handle separately.

I don't know why I did not buy this years ago. It has been a miracle that I was able to sanitize properly without it. It is one of the best purchases in a long time and made my life much easier.

Simple build includes a Tee fitting for the liquid line to also clean the dip tube in corny kegs. Let's you get other things done while this runs in the background. A second one to run PBW while this one runs StarSan would be even more efficient use of time. It would be a little more convenient to have an on-off switch instead of constantly unplugging it but for what it does it works perfectly.

This unit is absolutely awesome. It does a great and very thorough job of cleaning and sanitizing both kegs and carboys and with very little water mess. I would definitely recommend it.

I can’t imagine washing a keg any other way.

Love this keg cleaner and easy to use. Recommend you get the option Ball Lock Keg Rinser although I had to swamp the Ball Lock out for Pin Lock. Combined it does a great job. I put PBW and hot water in the bowl pre-rinse the keg attached the valve locks and plug it in for 30 minutes.

It may seem extravagant but once you own one of these babies you'll wonder how you did without it. I'm considering a second unit so that I can wash/sanitize kegs and carboys simultaneously (we do this during group brews with the club and it's awesome!). The line cleaning feature is a major plus as well!

While it does do the job advertised its not the fastest but that does give you time to do other things in the interim. But I would not recommend using this for cleaning fermenting buckets unless the bucket was first quick cleaned in the sink since there is only a one gallon reserve of fluid and the holding tank would get overwhelmed quickly with the sludge from a fermenting bucket. This is a gimmicky item which I would not consider rebuying once it is done. But the pump does have a good second use i.e. pumping cold water from my cooler through my wort chiller since the flow rate is perfect for a fast chill of hot wort.
