When you take your brew bag out of your kettle you can rest it in this funnel and have it sit on top of a 7 gallon bucket. Then you can drain your bag without worrying about liquid splashing all over your kitchen. I used to use a colander but it would leak around the edges of the bucket.

The maltzilla needs a funnel and this funnel is HUGE but works great. You will need to cut the stem to about 2.5" in order to make a snug fit for the Maltzilla but it holds firm and works great. If you're just looking for a VERY large filter for other purposes I'm sure this will work well. The plastic is thick and seems to be reinforced.

This is a so nice when weighing water and pouring into a keg or similar. Make sure to get the optional screen.
