The HI84500-55 is a 120 mL bottle of pump calibration standard that is used to calibrate the dosing system of the HI84500 Sulfur Dioxide Mini Titrator for Wine Analysis. A calibrated dosing pump allows for the accurate determination of the amount of titrant used when performing a titration. The amount of volume dosed along with the concentration of the titrant is used by the pre-programmed formula within the HI84500 in determining the exact concentration of sulfur dioxide. The pump calibration procedure should be performed anytime the titrant or ORP electrode is replaced. Standardized solution Clearly marked expiration date and lot number Air tight bottle with tamper-proof seal to ensure quality Analysis of sulfur dioxide in wine, as performed on the HI84500 mini titrator, utilizes a simple sample preparation, a high quality titrant dosing pump, potentiometric endpoint detector, and automatic computations. To maintain the high precision of the titrator, a simple pump calibration procedure is performed with HI84500-55 pump calibration solution. The pump calibration procedure involves the analysis of a known volume of a known solution. Speed up heating times with the Heat Exchanger Dish (HED) for Gen 4 BrewZillas. Due to the concave bottom and central draining hole, the wort being recirculated through the pump will pass through the malt pipe and then down through the boiler false bottom. The wort would normally then follow the path of least resistance, making a b-line for that drainage hole. What this Heat Exchanger Dish does is force that recirculating wort up to the edge of the BrewZilla base and pass over the elements for a longer period, this then aids in faster heating exchange with the wort, which can help you on a brew day reach those temperatures much quicker. For use with the Gen 4 65L BrewZilla. It is not compatible with any previous generations of BrewZillas or DigiBoils. The HED has been pressed into a slight concave shape to match the curvature of the boiler false bottom. Includes a longer eye bolt assembly than the one included with the false bottom. A new take on an old favorite! Most winemakers appreciate the simplicity of using a keg for topping up barrels... apply nitrogen or argon gas pressure and you top up your barrels as needed. Our version of the cellar keg has a couple unique twists, designed after using most others on the market. We start with a brand new 50 Liter Stainless Steel Keg. We cut out the original valve and weld in a 4" tri-clamp ferrule. Some winemakers have told us they do not need the 4" opening. However, the cost difference between a keg with a 2" or 4" opening is very little, and boy is the 4" opening nice when you want to clean it quick by hand. The larger opening also comes in handy for small producers who may need to add oak staves into a cellar keg for structuring. A unique feature of our Cellar Keg is the 1.5" tri-clamp wine-out connection positioned at a 90 degree angle to the keg. Clamp on a butterfly valve for a consistently sanitary, easy-to-use connection.
