    Agglomerated Wine Corks | Molinas MP AGL | Compressed Natural Cork | #9 x 1.75" | 23mm x 44mm

Agglomerated corks are a great economy option for wines not intended for long term storage All Natural cork is compressed using a food grade binding agent Organoleptically controlled, Genesis steam treated to reduce TCA and other volatile compounds 23mm X 44mm, #9 x 1.75" | Fits standard cork finish (neck) bottles Recommended aging time: Up to 2 years Molinas Cork has been sustainabily harvesting from the cork forests of Sardinia for over 100 years Bark is aged an additional year prior to harvest, leading to less porous, higher quality cork These agglomerated corks are a great economy option for sealing your wine. Intended for shorter term aging (<2 years), perfect for those that don't lay their wine down for extended aging. Agglomerated corks are made from small cork pieces held together with a food grade binder. These corks are recommended for wines aged less than 2 years. The 23 mm diameter eases the corking process if using a hand corker.  23mm X 44mm, #9 x 1.75". Italy produces more wine than any country in the world and Molinas is the largest Italian cork supplier with over 1 billion corks produced annually. Molinas Cork was started over 100 years ago by Pietro Molinas on the Italian island of Sardinia. Besides its beautiful beaches and designation as one of the world's five Blue Zones, Sardinia is known for its large, government protected Cork tree forests. Today, the 4th generation of the Molinas family sustainably harvests cork from these protected trees. Compared to most cork available in the market, the bark is allowed to mature an additional year. This leads to a less porous, higher quality cork, and has less impact on the forest. Throughout the entire process from tree to finished cork, quality control is strictly monitored. MoreFlavor! is proud to represent Molinas Cork in the USA. • Airlock - S-Shaped

    Airlock - S-Shaped

    42 reviews

An old traditional style of airlock that is still preferred by wine makers during an ML fermentation and for longer term aging. A 3 piece style airlock (FE370) is preferred for active primary fermentation of sugar because they can be easily cleaned when they get dirty. The S-Shaped is better for long term aging because the water in the airlock has less surface area and will not evaporate as quickly. They are preferred for ML fermentation because they will show positive pressure, an indication that your ML fermentation (which are very slow and hard to detect) is working. Please Note: Stopper Not Included.

  • AlcoEngine - Copper Alembic Domed Distillation Lid - 6 mm AlcoEngine - Copper Alembic Domed Distillation Lid - 6 mm

AlcoEngine Copper Alembic Distillation Lid | 6mm Gasket

    2 reviews

The Alembic Copper Domed Lid fits the DigiBoil 35L and BrewZilla 35L.  The large copper surface area of this copper dome acts as a catalyst with the vapor in the still and help to enhance and concentrate the flavors and aromas during the distilling process. It can also help remove unwanted sulfur compounds which results in a smoother richer, sweeter tasting spirit. This unit was primarily designed to be used with the AlcoEngine Pot Still. But can also be used with the AlcoEngine Reflux Still if you wish. Note: This lid uses a 6mm gasket to better fit the Gen 4 BrewZilla and Gen 2 DigiBoil. It is also backwards compatible with Gen 3 and older BrewZillas and Gen 1 DigiBoils. To improve the seal further, we highly recommend using the Adjustable Lid Clamps with the Distillation Lid if your unit does not have them. 9-1/2" Tall 12-3/8" Diameter. Please note that copper is a very soft metal and can be dented quite easily. Store and use with care. KegLand Part number: KL15899   Warning: Distilling alcohol without permits or licensing is illegal in many countries, including the United States.  It is the customer's responsibility to research their local, state, and federal laws and abide by those laws. Brewmaster is not responsible for any damage or injury caused by either misuse or unlawful use. Stills can also be used to produce essential oils, vinegar, purified water and engine fuel (requires permit in USA).

LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.
