EVABarrier double wall tubing is an excellent choice for all draft dispensing applications. The inner barrier is an excellent gas barrier, keeping oxygen out and CO2 in. The inner wall is also extremely smooth to prevent bacteria and other microbes from attaching to the inside surface. The outer barrier gives the tubing a decent stiffness while still remaining pliable. This makes EVA Barrier remarkably kink resistant and the perfect choice for use with Duotight, John Guest, and other push-in fittings. The 5 mm (13/64") ID size is perfect for draft applications where a longer beverage line is needed. We recommend using 10-12 ft. per line for adequate flow resistance. This tubing works seamlessly with Duotight Gas In and Bev Out Ball Lock QDs which allow you to connect your draft lines directly to your ball lock homebrew keg. Be sure to select the correct size QD fittings that correspond to your tubing's outer diameter (OD). We love these keg lids as either a replacement or an upgrade to the stock lid featured on many homebrew kegs. Most homebrew kegs feature a straight, parallel bale that sits extemely close to the lid when in the closed position. So close that it can be hard to get a finger or two under the bale to open it. Because of its high elasticity this tubing is easy to attach to/detach from barbed fittings without having to cut the tubing to remove it or use hose clamps to install it (in low pressure applications).
