White Labs Yeast Nutrient - WLN1000
White Labs Yeast Nutrient is used to help increase the health of your yeast. Healthy yeast is vital for a clean and complete fermentation, which will also help to prevent off-flavors in your homebrew. Contains diammonium phosphate, essential vitamins and co-factors, nitrogen (amino acids, proteins, and peptides) and minerals. The White Labs Yeast Nutrient provides an effective boost for first and/or late generation yeast slurry. If grist is not 100% malt, then yeast nutrient can help make up for lack of nutrients. For commercial use, each package contains 1.0 oz, enough for 5bbls. For homebrew use, each 1/2 tsp. from the package is good for 5 gallons.

Carapils Malt - Briess Malting
1.7 °L - Briess Malting - Carapils adds body, mouthfeel and improves head retention by adding dextrines, proteins, non-starch polysaccharides, and other body-building compounds into your wort. Carapils is usually used at a level of 5% or less of your total all-grain malt bill. However it can be used at a higher rate in special cases, say if you are making a Session IPA, and are trying to simulate a higher gravity beer. Because of its extremely light color and neutral flavor it won't have much affect on the final color or flavor of your beer. Carapils belongs to a category of malts labeled as Dextrine, sometimes Dextrin, malts. We mention this because you might see either of these names in your recipe. You can steep Carapils in an extract batch but will only get about 20% utilization, or 20% of the goodies of this malt dissolved into your beer. While not as complex as Carapils malt, for extract brewing some brewers prefer to use dextrin powder.

Foam Control (FermCap S)
Eliminate the head on fermenting beer and brew a larger quantity in your existing fermenter. Foam control - also known as FermCapS - does not affect the head on your finished beer, but can actually increase the head by retaining head-forming compounds that would have been blown off during ferment. It will settle-out of beer before bottling or kegging as it is actually absorbed onto the surface of the yeast cells and filter media. Add two drops per gallon at start of fermentation. Comes packaged in a very handy eye dropper bottle that allows for easy use. 1 oz is good for about 50 x 5-gallon batches of beer. Also available in bulk 1 gallon size. Note: Keeps best when stored in the refrigerator. Like Foam Control (FermCap S)? Then you will love CellarScience® Foam Axe - Anti Foaming Agent!

Duotight Push-In Fitting - 8 mm (5/16 in.) x 1/4 in. Flare
This Duotight fitting with 1/4" Flare is perfect for flared gas and beverage ball lock and pin lock disconnects. It can also be used to connect gas line to the flare fitting found on the KOMOS® CO2 Regulator. Compatible with EVABarrier 8 mm OD Tubing (D1717 & D1718). The Duotight fitting does not require a flare washer. See the instructions below for how to ensure a leak-free connection when attaching to flare fittings. Duotight fittings are high-quality push-in fittings that seal tight and offer superior sealing capacity due to the double O-ring sealing design. High Performance Double O-Ring Design: The secret to Duotight’s superior sealing performance comes from the fact that they use not one, but two high-quality EPDM O-rings. The double O-ring means they have literally twice the sealing surface when compared with other push-in fittings. This makes them more reliable and significantly reduces the chance of leakage. The double O-ring system also means that tubing can be bent at a much tighter radius without causing leaking issues, which can be an issue with other fittings. This combination of factors makes Duotight the most reliable push-in fittings on the market. EPDM offers excellent chemical resistance for a longer life span. When compared with silicone and vinyl, EPDM has much better gas transmission rates, better wear resistance, and is BPA-free. No Clamps Necessary! We recommend cutting your tubing straight, not on an angle, to ensure the line forms a complete seal. To remove the fitting simply push in the collet and the hose can be removed. Features: Insert tubing and firmly push to connect Easily release tubing by pushing in the collet Suitable for both gas & beverage applications Made from food-grade acetal plastic Double O-rings made from highly chemical resistant EPDM Locking teeth made from stainless steel Pressure rated to 150 psi Temperature rated to 212°F (100°C) Please note: exposure to chlorine will degrade the acetal plastic and stainless steel these fittings are made from. Temp Twister Cooling Coil
The Temp Twister Cooling Coil installs easily on all models of FermZilla fermenter and can be used with virtually any fermenter with an opening diameter of 4-3/8" or wider. The inlet and outlet of the coil are extra long so the coil can be used with every sized FermZilla. In order to cut them to an appropriate length for your application, we recommend this compact pipe cutter. To install, simply drill two 22 mm holes into the lid of the fermenter and use the included Duotight bulkhead fittings to attach the coil to the lid. The FermZilla will still be pressurizable after installing the Temp Twister, just be careful to drill the holes no wider than needed to fit the Duotight bulkheads.
