Spigot Wrench for VS Ported carboys
This is the installation tool to install spigots in the Vintage Shop ported PET carboys. The wrench has a specially molded hex nut to hold the 5/16 inch barbed (FE347) or 1/2 inch barbed (FE347A) spigot nut, and a long handle so you can reach to the bottom of the carboy. The spigot wrench can be reused, you only need it during the installation and/or removal of the spigots.

Briess is an American malting company that is vertically integrated with seed facilities, barley collection facilities, and direct relationships with farmers in the state of Wyoming. In this region malt is flood irrigated so that it does not have to rely on rainfall. This has the benefits of quality and consistency for you the brewer. Malt that is flood irrigated is lighter in color since the barley heads see very little rain. The flood irrigation is also consistent and reliable so Briess sees less variability in their malt from year to year. Fully carbonate your beer in under 2 days! With the Carbonating Keg Lid you can quickly carbonate beer without the risk of over carbonating like with the burst carbonation method Diffusion stone disperses CO2 directly into solution for faster gas absorption Brand new keg lid complete with o-ring and PRV The easiest way to carbonate beer. This is a Cornelius keg lid with built-in carbonation stone! Move the lid from keg to keg to carbonate as needed. Allows you to force carbonate quickly using the attached .5 micron stone with the portability of being able to move the lid from keg to keg. No more hassles of trying to attach and unattach line from the "gas in" dip tube. Simply connect your gas quick disconnect to the included fitting on the lid and allow carbonation to begin. Sometimes also called a carbonater. We constructed the lid by welding on a 1/4" barb to the underside of the lid. To that we attached 2' of 1/4" ID tubing that attaches to a .5 micron carb stone on the other end. The flexible tubing, as opposed to rigid tubing, allows the lid inserted into any cornelius style keg. The top of the lid has a "gas in" ball lock body connect welded in place that works with the KEG710 and KEG730 gas quick disconnects. Use: Beer must be stored cold at 34–40°F. Preboil the stone for 2–3 minutes before using. This assures you that your stone is sterile and any residual oils have been boiled off. Sanitize the whole keg lid before submersing into your keg filled with beer. Set your PSI on your regulator to 3–4psi and attach your gas in fitting to the body connect on the lid. Leave keg at this pressure for 1 hour. Raise your pressure 2PSI per hour until you reach 10–12psi. Leave it at 10–12psi for 24 hours. Pour a pint and test the carbonation. If you think your beer needs more CO2 leave for another 4–6 hours and have another pint. Remove carbonation lid after carbonation level is satisfactory. Return original keg lid for long term storage.

FastFerment - 3 gal Conical Fermenter
The Fast Ferment is an affordable conical fermenter that allows a brewer or winemaker to collect sediment in the included collection ball for easy removal. Easy to use and more affordable than stainless steel conicals. During fermentation the bottom valve is left open so that sediment will fall into the collection ball. After fermentation is over the valve is shut and the collection ball can be removed without introducing oxygen into the fermenter. Typically with most small conical fermenters if you let trub dump out the bottom air has to come into to replace that volume. After dumping sediment or trub the collection ball can be reattached and the valve opened again to allow clean yeast to settle into the ball. That yeast can then be used to ferment your next batch of beer. If you are a brewer who likes to do a primary and secondary fermenter having a conical that allows you to avoid that transfer is going to save time and reduce oxidation. Made from HDPE plastic care should be taken when cleaning. Only use a chemical cleaner like PBW and do not use an abrasive cleaning pad that could scratch the interior.
