Twin Disc corks offer some benefits of using whole cork for a price similar to agglomerated Two cork discs, made from high density cork planks, glued on the bottom ensure high resistance to mechanical stress from corking machines 30.5mm X 48mm Recommended aging time: Up to 3 years Molinas Cork has been sustainability harvesting from the cork forests of Sardinia for over 100 years Bark is aged an additional year prior to harvest, leading to less porous, higher quality cork A quality agglomerated cork capped with natural cork on either end. This gives corkscrews a solid piece to grab and the wine is in contact with natural cork. These corks are recommended for wines aged less than 3 years. Not intended for hand corkers that don't compress the cork. 24mm X 44mm, #9 x 1.75". Fits standard cork finish (neck) bottles. Italy produces more wine than any country in the world and Molinas is the largest Italian cork supplier with over 1 billion corks produced annually. Molinas Cork was started over 100 years ago by Pietro Molinas on the Italian island of Sardinia. Besides its beautiful beaches and designation as one of the world's five Blue Zones, Sardinia is known for its large, government protected Cork tree forests. Today, the 4th generation of the Molinas family sustainably harvests cork from these protected trees. Compared to most cork available in the market, the bark is allowed to mature an additional year. This leads to a less porous, higher quality cork, and has less impact on the forest. Throughout the entire process from tree to finished cork, quality control is strictly monitored. MoreFlavor! is proud to represent Molinas Cork in the USA.

When used with the male QD these quick disconnect seal up very well in either flow direction, without a lot of work in connecting them. This will work with any of our H503 and H507 series of quick disconnects. However, it does not work in conjunction with any of our plastic or brass quick disconnects. These feature a 1/2" Male National Pipe Thread on the ends for easy connectivity to almost anything. The quick disconnect will hold pressure for typical brewing applications when moving liquids at 60psi or less. 1/2" ID. Gasket temperature range is -40° to 250° F. Open port, does not have shut-off. We designed the original stainless QD's for the brewing industry over 10 years ago. The same manufacturer has been machining them for us ever since. The design has certainly been copied but not with consistent quality. That is why our Stainless QD fittings have a near unanimous 5 star review with retail customers.

Stop leaving clean, perfectly good, wine or beer in your tank and always drain from the perfect height with our tri-clover style rotating racking arms. Remove your existing tri-clamp butterfly valve and place this rotating racking arm between the tank and your valve. When it is time to rack off slightly loosen the clamp nearest the tank and use the built-in handle to rotate to just about the lees level. A white rotatable gasket is placed between the welded in tank fitting and this rotating arm. Because the micro finish of the gasket is hard and slippery it allows the rotating arm to rotate in place. A standard black EPDM gasket is placed between the rotating arm and the butterfly valve and is always kept completely tightened. The length of the arm after the elbow is 14" allowing you to draw from roughly 10" above or below the valve level. The arm measures 13.5" from the TC fitting to the elbow. We suggest you assemble the rotating arm and butterfly valve in such a way that the arm is pointed in the same direction as the handle on your butterfly valve. In this manner you always know how the racking arm is positioned in your tank. Manufactured from 304-type stainless steel with a polished finish. 2" tri-clover connection.

This classic German hop has an herbal/floral character and smooth bitterness, making it an ideal choice for brewing lagers, especially traditional pilsners. Hallertau Mittelfruh is one of the original four Noble hops, and is categorized as a "landrace" hop, meaning that it grew and adapted naturally over time in its native region. Its name is derived from the region of Hallertau, the world's largest hop growing region, and the German word mittelfrueh meaning "middle-early", referring to the early middle part of the growing season when it's ready to be harvested. The majority of its oil content comes from Humulene which provides the floral, herbal, and spicy character. Clean, crisp, and perfect for your next pilsner or hoppy lager. The LinkTech 60PS Series is a lineup of premium plastic Quick Disconnects. These High Quality QDs are made from medical grade polypropylene, a high-strength plastic that is temperature tolerant 160° (Max!), and can handle pressure ranging from a vacuum to 60 psi. All of the 60PS Series will interconnect, and these units will also work seamlessly (and leaklessly!) with CPC Quick Disconnects of the same internal 3/8” flow path. O-rings are a EPDM Rubber, and internal valve springs are constructed from 316 Stainless steel. This is a Female Socket, which can connect to any H501 Series Male Plug. It has 1/2" Male NPT threading for use with any products equipped with 1/2" Female NPT. This QD is equipped with a shutoff valve. When not connected to another QD, this will not allow any flow. While not quite as bulletproof as our Stainless Steel Quick Disconnects, this lineup is still incredibly durable, and does offer a few advantages. These can be set up with Shutoffs, which will prevent flow when disconnected, and can be incredibly useful on Pump or Glycol systems. The pricing of these products is more economical, yet the plastic is still medical grade. All in all, these are a premium lineup of quick disconnects with great features and lots of options. EVABarrier double wall tubing is an excellent choice for all draft dispensing applications. The inner barrier is an excellent gas barrier, keeping oxygen out and CO2 in. The inner wall is also extremely smooth to prevent bacteria and other microbes from attaching to the inside surface. The outer barrier gives the tubing a decent stiffness while still remaining pliable. This makes EVA Barrier remarkably kink resistant and the perfect choice for use with Duotight, John Guest, and other push-in fittings. The 5 mm (13/64") ID size is perfect for draft applications where a longer beverage line is needed. We recommend using 10-12 ft. per line for adequate flow resistance. This tubing works seamlessly with Duotight Gas In and Bev Out Ball Lock QDs which allow you to connect your draft lines directly to your ball lock homebrew keg. Be sure to select the correct size QD fittings that correspond to your tubing's outer diameter (OD). Specifications: Inner Diameter - 5 mm (13/64") Outer Diameter - 8 mm (5/16") PVC, BPA , and Plasticizer Free* Stiff outer wall is kink resistant and easy to use with Duotight fittings Smooth inner wall prevents oxidation, CO2 loss and microbial growth build-up *EVABarrier does not contain plasticizers, or phthalates, that are used to make PVC flexible. The entry level natural cork. This is the lowest grade natural cork we recommend. Corks are typically graded on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the best, based on the degree of porousness that the actual punch of cork exhibits. The Grade 4 corks show average porousness and is a little below the quality of cork used in many commercial facilities. They will normally seal perfectly, however if you are looking for a cork for extended aging of 5-7+ years, consider a grade 3.

We love these keg lids as either a replacement or an upgrade to the stock lid featured on many homebrew kegs. Most homebrew kegs feature a straight, parallel bale that sits extemely close to the lid when in the closed position. So close that it can be hard to get a finger or two under the bale to open it. The arms on this lid bend outward creating a nice, easy-to-grip handle to open and close the bale. For use with Torpedo, Cornelius, and Firestone kegs. Comes with a pull-ring pressure relief valve and o-ring. PRV rated to 85 psi.

Grapefruit and lime aromas along with gooseberry, passion fruit, and lychee notes. Currently one of the top choices for late hop additions or dry hopping when you want to make that ultimate hop bomb IPA or Pale Ale. Citra® also has a fairly high alpha acid content making it a good choice for bittering IPAs, Pales, and American Ales. Supply has been limited in the industry but MoreBeer! loved this hop from day one and bought a lot of it years ago on contract. Whole cone hops are typically the preferred format for dry hopping as they maintain contact with the beer by floating, they are easier to remove than pellets and they add a unique character to the beer. Although it is listed as one of the original six red grapes of Bordeaux, Carménère is all but impossible to find in France today. After a phylloxera plague in the mid-19th century, the vines were nearly all destroyed in Europe and presumed extinct. But the grape lived on, unbeknownst to anyone, in the grape growing regions of Chile where some speculate it was mistaken for Merlot and thus unwittingly preserved over the last 150 years. Indeed the two grapes share a common ancestor and are strikingly similar in appearance. Commonly used as a blending grape, but as a varietal wine Carménère is known for its deep red color, gentle tannins, and fruit-forward character with earthy notes. Growing Carménère is all but unheard of in Bordeaux today, but the grape has thrived in the vineyards of Chile where it has become the country’s leading red grape. The resulting wine is a full-bodied, dry red with aromas and flavors of red fruit and berries, plum, and floral notes. Our Chile Carménère follows the classic description, characterized by flavors of raspberry, red cherry, and plum. Medium-bodied and dry with a moderate oak presence. This red wine weighs in at the higher end of the spectrum with an alcohol level of 13.5% by volume. This Carmenere wine kit includes medium toast French oak chips. Medium toast French oak is subtle and provides refined flavors of custard, chocolate, and spice. French oak in general is often used by winemakers when they want to increase the mouthfeel and complexity of a wine without stepping on or suppressing the fruit. The VineCo Estate Carménère is the perfect wine for those that enjoy the spice of life. Or maybe more specifically, those that enjoy spice in their meals. Carménère pairs wonderfully with dishes that have a kick. Lamb curry, spicy pork sausage, Chile con Carne—these mouth watering foods are great options to enjoy with a glass of this delicious red wine. Carménère shouldn’t only be poured alongside hot dishes, but if you’re looking for something to pair with a meal that raises your heart rate, you’ve found it here. This pad is the right choice when you want to promote sterility in the bottle, although do please note that the pad does not remove 100% of bacteria - only a cartridge filter can do so. The filters can be sterilized by in-line steam, auto-claving, dry heat, hot water or chemical methods. We choose to run Saniclean solution through the pads followed by sterile water or a small amount of wine that is then discarded. After the solution is run through the pads, and the pads have softened, the filter will need to be re-tightened. Each pad has an entry side and an exit side, distinguishable by their different textures. The entry side is a billowy type texture, frequently called the "rough" side; and the exit side has a crosshatch pattern and is commonly called the "smooth" side.
