The Ultimate Sparge Arm
Our Patent Pending sparge arm design is the perfect addition to almost any all grain setup! This sparge arm assembly is made completely of stainless steel and silicone, and has two adjustment points. One of these will help to hold the sparge arm against your kettle, while the other allows you to move the sparge arm up or down inside the kettle to accommodate different amounts of grain. These adjustment knobs are very easy to hand tighten and loosen, meaning no tools are necessary. Excellent for sparging as well as recirculating your mash in a RIMS or HERMS system! To use, simply install on your kettle wall, tighten down the stopper bumper to hold the sparge arm in place, adjust the height of the bottom disc to be right above your grain bed but below the mash tun's water level, and adjust the flow level using the included ball valve. This unit will not include a barb or quick disconnect on the inlet of the ball valve, as every brewery is different. Please choose an inlet attachment from the sparge arms recommended items. Note - This sparge arm will not fit on most coolers. Make sure to check out the video in the video tab below. Features 100% stainless and silicone construction Two adjustment knobs make it extremely universal Included ball valve allows you to increase or decrease the flow rate during sparge or recirculation Included check ball will prevent back flow Can adjust from the top of your kettle to 12-13 inches down into your kettle A single, large diameter outlet port trickles onto a stainless disc, which distributes sparge water gently and evenly. This port is also much easier to flush out and keep clean than many other sparge assemblies with multiple small holes that grain gets stuck in during recirculation Stainless tube measures 18.5" from the top to the bend, and 8.5" from the bottom to the center of the distribution disc. Can be mounted on a lip that is up to 7/8" wide Has a 1/2" FPT ball valve

Yeast Starter Kit (500 ml)
500ml Erlenmeyer flask, 1/2lb light dried malt extract & 1oz Fermaid K (Yeast Nutrient). This starter kit is for growing liquid yeast starters. The idea is that the starter acts as a mini batch of beer where the yeast cells replicate before being pitched into your 5 gallon batch. More yeast means fermentation starts faster. The bacteria and wild yeast that got into your beer during the transfer from kettle to fermenter have less chance of creating a negative flavor impact upon your beer. (We do not recommend the use of an electric element with these flasks. If this cannot be avoided, we recommend using a larger pot as a hot water bath on the stove.) In the lab world, these flasks are known as "Student Grade". A great flask for making yeast starters!(Student grade is not the highest grade flasks and will have minor defects)

March Pump - With High Temp Stainless Steel Housing
A Stainless Steel pump housing is food-grade and nearly indestructable. Exact same internal pump as our H315 but with a stainless steel housing. Stainless steel is the material of choice for professional breweries because it is a durable, food-grade metal that can withstand caustic chemicals and can also be effectively sanitized. 3/4" mpt on center inlet. 1/2" mpt outlet. The magnetic drive acts as a clutch allowing the user to put back-pressure on the pump to slow down flow. With a ball valve on the outflow, you can slow flow all the way to nothing. Since it is a magnetic drive, it is not self priming, you must put the pump under the level of the liquid source. We wanted the pump to be brewer friendly so we had March install a bracket so that it can be mounted. We also had a 6' power cord with plug wired in for easy use. This is a tough little pump with a 1/25 hp, continuous-duty 1.4 Amp motor which can be run non-stop for extended periods. This pump has a maximum flow of 7.2 GPM with a maximum head of 12 feet. For an example of typical usage: with a head of 6' it will pump 3.25 GPM and with an 8' head it will pump 2.5 GPM. Motor requires 115v 50/60HZ power requirements.

Lallemand | LalBrew® NovaLager™ Modern Hybrid Lager Yeast | Dry Beer Yeast
LalBrew NovaLager is a true bottom fermenting Saccharomyces pastorianus hybrid from the novel Group III (Renaissance) lineage that has been selected to produce clean lager beers with distinct flavor characteristics and superior fermentation performance. LalBrew NovoLager is a robust lager strain with ideal characteristics for lager beer production including fast fermentations, high attenuation and high flocculation. The distinct flavor profile is very clean, slight esters over a wide temperature range. Through expression of a β-glucosidase enzyme, LalBrew NovaLager can promote hop biotransformation and accentuate hop flavor and aroma. This product is the result of the research and development work of Renaissance Bioscience Corp. (Vancouver BC, Canada) in partnership with Lallemand Brewing. LalBrew NovaLager was selected using classical and non-GMO breeding methods to obtain a novel Saccharomyces cerevisiae x Saccharomyces eubayanus hybrid strain that defines a novel Group III (Renaissance) lager lineage that is distinct from any other traditional Saccharomyces pastorianus strains. This strain is a low VDK/diacetyl producer and utilizes patented technology from the University of California Davis (USA) to ensure that the strain will not produce hydrogen sulfide (H2S) off-flavors, therefore reducing the maturation time associated with lager beer production. Beer Styles: Lagers Aroma: Clean, low to medium ester, no sulfur Attenuation: 78-84% Fermentation Range: 50-68°F (10-20°C) Flocculation: High Alcohol Tolerance: 13% ABV *See the technical data sheet below for information on rehydration, usage and storage.

KOMOS® | Stainless Flare Fitting Set | 1/4 in. Swivel Nut & Barb
1/4 in. barb and 1/4 in. swivel nut for flare fitting connections. If you're connecting to stainless steel or brass, you will also need a nylon flare washer to form a seal. Plastic quick disconnects (QDs) on the other hand, have a built-in washer so the additional nylon flare washer is not needed. The barb and nut are both made from stainless steel. We recommend using 3/16" ID tubing for a tight fit.

CellarScience® BAJA Dry Yeast | Mexican Lager | Premium Beer Yeast
A cold fermenting Mexican yeast that produces clean, crisp lagers. Originally developed and popularized by the Modelo Group, this versatile strain has a neutral character and finishes dry. Perfect for Mexican-style light lagers, dark lagers, and cold IPAs. Every batch is PCR tested to ensure contamination free yeast. Dosage: Two sachets are enough to treat a 5–6 gallon batch. When calculating for larger batches, use at a rate of 2.5–4 grams per gallon of wort. We recommend rounding up by one full sachet rather than measuring out the yeast exactly. Direct Pitch or Rehydrate: BAJA yeast is designed to be sprinkled directly onto the surface of your wort with no oxygenation required in the initial fermentation. Our aerobic growth process makes this possible by creating dry yeast with high viability and high sterol levels. BAJA yeast is pre-loaded with essential nutrients to ensure a successful, complete fermentation. While not required, some brewers prefer to rehydrate yeast. To hydrate yeast, first, sanitize the yeast brick and scissors. Use 10 grams of sterilized tap water between 85-95°F (29-35°C) mixed with 0.25 grams of FermStart per gram of yeast. Sprinkle yeast on the water. Allow the slurry to stand undisturbed for 20 minutes, then swirl. Use small amounts of wort to adjust to within 10°F (6°C) of wort temperature before pitching. Ferment between 50-56°F (10-13°C). Optimum Fermentation Temp: 50-56°F Flocculation: Medium-High Alcohol Tolerance: 10-11% ABV Attenuation: 75-85% Similar Strains: WLP940 Gluten-free
